Mixels still 30% off at Walgreens. I found one store that had them at msrp +60% off. That's like 75% off in Wally World.

I can confirm the half off. I took the last one on the shelf. Store employee said there might be more in the back...but only one per customer. They are always so darn busy over here.

Edit - Now that I'm back and settled in.  Big thanks to @PhilB and the brickpicker community in general.  This was definitely not on my pick up list, but at half off with promo item, couldn't resist.

all depends on how you look at VIP, bc the $ you get from double points can only be applied to the next purchase. So assuming you sell 40222 for 19.99 (incl shipping) you'll only net about $13 to discount your FM purchase down to ($136.99).

(2) Mixers at WM @ $116.98= $233.96

(2) Mixers at LEGO Shop at Home= ($299.98) - (2) promos $26) -VIP $25 = $248.98 (this assumes two separate orders)

 

I think big retailers are fleecing Lego with all these deals! Good for us but what could possibly be end game for TLG? Why would anyone pay retail anymore??

I prefer my discounts up front instead of having to work for them, but I'll do both.

Promos. But a good point. With sets reaching online discounts of 30% even with LEGO Shop at Home's promos & double VIP it makes it harder to justify on larger sets.

Thanks pstebbing. I actually did some math for two zips, my brothers in Seattle and mine. Seattle has a 9.5% tax I think and free shipping while here I have 4.7% tax but no free shipping (something like $32 for one FM). So lose out either way.
