October 11, 20169 yr Mixels still 30% off at Walgreens. I found one store that had them at msrp +60% off. That's like 75% off in Wally World. All series 4 btw
October 11, 20169 yr SoCallers, just saw this on Eurobricks: Quote WooHooo! For those in SoCal and specifically near the Downtown Disney Lego store location they currently have the Temple of Airjitzu set on sale for 50% off. Picked one up for myself.

October 11, 20169 yr You can send one to me if this upsets you too much to buy one for yourself [emoji4] I'll take one too if that will make it easier to justify your trip
October 11, 20169 yr I can confirm the half off. I took the last one on the shelf. Store employee said there might be more in the back...but only one per customer. They are always so darn busy over here. Edit - Now that I'm back and settled in. Big thanks to @PhilB and the brickpicker community in general. This was definitely not on my pick up list, but at half off with promo item, couldn't resist. Edited October 11, 20169 yr by legoboy16
October 11, 20169 yr To anyone who missed out on the first go around, Lego Fairground Mixer is back in stock at Walmart at 116. https://www.walmart.com/ip/LEGO-Creator-Expert-Fairground-Mixer/36246211 Tempted to buy more, but I'm way past my quota for lego this month. Need to stick to the plan.

Need to stick to the plan. Hmmm. With tax included, I believe it's cheaper to get it at LEGO Shop at Home with double VIP and selling the promo. That's for my zip of course.
October 11, 20169 yr LEGO Star Wars 75101 First Order Special Forces Tie Fighter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01E78WLF2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_2pn.xbV1FYAC3 $48.97 (30%)

That's for my zip of course. all depends on how you look at VIP, bc the $ you get from double points can only be applied to the next purchase. So assuming you sell 40222 for 19.99 (incl shipping) you'll only net about $13 to discount your FM purchase down to ($136.99). (2) Mixers at WM @ $116.98= $233.96 (2) Mixers at LEGO Shop at Home= ($299.98) - (2) promos $26) -VIP $25 = $248.98 (this assumes two separate orders)
October 11, 20169 yr I think big retailers are fleecing Lego with all these deals! Good for us but what could possibly be end game for TLG? Why would anyone pay retail anymore??
October 11, 20169 yr I prefer my discounts up front instead of having to work for them, but I'll do both.

With sets reaching online discounts of 30% even with LEGO Shop at Home's promos & double VIP it makes it harder to justify on larger sets. Edited October 11, 20169 yr by pstebbing
October 11, 20169 yr Thanks pstebbing. I actually did some math for two zips, my brothers in Seattle and mine. Seattle has a 9.5% tax I think and free shipping while here I have 4.7% tax but no free shipping (something like $32 for one FM). So lose out either way.
