Agree there are risks. But with regard to the Snow Plow, kids in half of the country don't see those around them (especially down here in Texas), so that might be impacting it. 4432 has done well and I'll take my chances with thus one at a low buy in. Not going in heavy, just a mild stash.

I have a feeling Target is going to have some mammoth sales closer to the end of the year. They are getting squeezed big time between Amazon and Walmart and pain always brings opportunity.

Those road plates are a bit of a rip-offclever packaging on behalf of TLG. Any layout always needs more straight road than anything else, second most popular is curved roads (unless you make an american city layout, then it's crossroads). To get straight roads, you have to buy a crossroad section. *sigh* Unless there is a clever way to turn a crossroad into a normal road-plate (e.g. by bricking over the two intersecting roads) you end up with a ton of left-over crossroads.

September 11, 20169 yr I totally agree about the road plates but unfortunately I need a ton of them for my layout. Brickbuilt roads just aren't very practical for the size of layout I'm building. I also got the prison island. Not a bad build I just needed another one to expand upon it.

I thought the Snow Plow was a little over-hoarded because it was on the heels of the Logging Truck (which still sells for a crazy price.) Meijer's freebies certainly hasn't helped it's value take off, either. After all that, I'm still buying a bunch of Garbage Trucks. Cleanest Lego City in the country right here.
