You can buy however you'd like.  The reason we don't bring up some of these other portals is because its not a fair game.  Some of these portals were able to strike up big money deals with them to do kickbacks to visitors.  We can't do that and I have tried over the years to see if we could. No luck.  If we did try to do something like it on our own, it is against the TOS.

With WM if your credit card bank throws a fraud alert they will cancel all of the subsequent orders. Have to wait a few days for that restriction to clear. Make sure to contact your credit card banks and have them set it up so all wm orders do not flag an alert - will help out in future situations where you need to order alot fast.

Lol that sounds like my CC, ordering from Walmart is one of the indicators for fraud alert

Ok, so how the hell is Walmart getting away with selling an exclusive below msrp?  
Does this mean other exclusive will be discounted in the future?

Saw that one, but just as you said, TRU jacked up the price so the discount is warm. May just wait a bit for a better deal.

No, Waiting for a TRU that actually have them in stock.  
Driving over 25 to 50 to find one and when you get their its gone.
I have never seen a TRU in my area, South Florida, with These Exclusives, ever.
And to end up with 1.  waste of time.

This has hit Reddit /r/lego now.

Same here.  All three TRU stores near me don't seem to carry them.  I have never seen a shelf tag or available for pickup status on their website for it.

In for 2. I stared at this thing at the Lego store for about 10 minutes a few months back, but it just didn't seem worth $200, when compared to Slave 1. One for me, one to sell. 

Tie Fighter at Walmart is poof. So much for Amazon joining the party. Lame...
