You should get a coupon that is good for the whole day at ANY TRU.  What does it say on the coupon? 10% or 15% off?

I'm waiting till tomorrow to apply but they told me it prints as 10%.

What if I apply online? It says 15% coupon good for so many days. Anyone know if I can use the card in store immediately through its number or soc or something? So I don't have to wait for it to arrive?

It shows as over 50% off, but maybe @Alpinemaps could really say if that's a great deal or are there usually other alternatives instead of $226, so $106 isn't all that great.

For just LEGOLAND its $93 a day. I think it's another $20 for Sea Life?

Checking the website, it's $107 for a two day pass to LEGOLAND, Sea Life and the Water Park.

Forgive my aviation ignorance, but isn't this more of a plane, and not so much a helicopter? It has 2 propellers, and no rotor.

It is definitely titled "Prison Island Helicopter" though.

I stand corrected, it is clearly not a sea plane.
Huge difference.
Sea planes clearly have TWO head lights in the front. not just one.

I did apply online at the end of March and successfully used the 15% coupon with my SSN in April (S1), YMMV

Today at TRU with 10% credit card the following are priced after the 20% existing sale.

LEGO SW      MILLENNIUM FC          107.99 T1
LEGO SW      FRST ORD TRAN           64.79 T1
LEGO SW      FINAL DUEL              61.19 T1

Saved $115

one humble question here: does anybody recommend any TRU store in relatively easy public transportation reach from Downtown Manhattan for next Thursday? last time I was there for work a NYC Midtown TRU store had prices that were inflated even more than the norm and also did not have that much of a Lego selection

Any other good lego books with figures on Amazon?  I still need the DC Encyclopedia but was only going to get 2. Wouldn't mind to get one more book with a fig to get free shipping.

I expect that Batman to go for more than that after the books release. Easy way to make your money back.

Picked up that and a copy of the book with Proto Boba Fett

so tomorrow may be good deals for everyone on this side of the pond at amazon.co.uk. pound is getting pounded. i did notice that amazon added "will not ship to US" on a lot of their listings, must the exchange rate seesaw of the moment, or did they change it a while back?

If you are trying to catch up on the books, you might want to check out Barnes & Noble.  They have the new SW Chronicles of the Force for $11.56 (same as Amazon).  DC SH is $13.66, though.  SW Character encyclopedia is $13.94 (Amazon is $13.67).  If you get over $50 in books, coupon code BNJUNE30 will subtract 20%.  The coupon code will increase to 25% at $100 and 30% at $150.

Now if you want to get super kick-ass, it would appear that the coupon code is doing some funny things...  LEGO sets are excluded from the discount.  No surprise there.   Nor do they raise the purchase amount used to determine the discount level (i.e. $50 in books and $100 in LEGO set gives you the 20% discount, not 25%).  But it appears you can get the discount to apply to your total order, including LEGO sets, with some careful sequencing  (I didn't complete checkout to see if it actually carries through).  If you work quantities in your cart, it will disqualify the promo code.  I suggest channeling the zen required to hunt for SYW discounts online if you are trying to get this to work.

To get it to the images below, I did the following.

1. Add the book to my cart

2. Go to cart and increase quantity to 5.  (Raise the cart about the $50 for the promo code)

3. Enter the promo code.  See about $10 in discount in the cart and indication that promo code BNJUNE30 was applied.

4. Add LEGO set to cart.  See the discount increase commensurately.

5. Change quantities and the discount goes poof.  Drop the LEGO sets, leaving only the books, and the discount still cannot be applied to order.  You might need to clear history or go Incognito to make it work.

Uhh, what are you guys going to do with 5 copies of the same Lego book?

Sell the minifig on bricklink for about the purchase price of the book?

Target online and on eBay seems to have 21014 Villa Savoye available for $64.93 (roughly 7% off). Not sure how many available or if it is a fluke, as it is a retired product...
