Looks great on mobile!

The primary links for all retail outlets are still missing.  We need to fix those links to show up on mobile.  I've been able to massage the ampersands out of the Amazon links to appear correctly on mobile, but some of the other links may need some work.

Thanks Jeff! So what will be the criteria for something to get added to this list? I see @exciter1's comprehensive Amazon list is there - is it the mod for the thread who will move items over to that first post? And how do we notify the maintainer of deals that have ended?

It used to be over 20% was the standard criteria, but that list can sometimes get rather large and challenging to maintain.  We will highlight standard percentage off deals, but Amazon and Wal-Mart are their own beasts, since they usually just update item by item and don't run standard percentage off sales.

During F5 periods, you'll see notifications for the availability of exclusives, etc, but we don't usually add those to the Daily Deals.

So I was finally able to find someone to help develop a plugin for a sticky post that will be great for this thread.  The daily deals will now have the updated list like we used to at the top of each page.  To make it less annoying to you frequent visitors, it skip past that post as you go from page to page, but you can scroll up at anytime to see it. It is better than it used to be because it will be on every page and you will not need to go back to the first post of the day all the time to get the latest updates.  Hopefully you find it useful.

One quirk, but maybe it's just my browser (Firefox on Linux): If you refresh the page and you were previously at a specific post, the page seems to jump up back to an older post on the same page ... hadn't seen this before so this might be tied to the new feature. Nothing big, just makes me have to scroll down whenever there is a new post and I refresh the page (I don't typically click on the "show 1+ replies" notification as it tends to skip replies).

EDIT: Actually - anything that refers to a post within a page (e.g. a clickthrough from the notifications bubble) seems to be off - at first it loads in at the right place on the page, but then when the entire page has loaded in, everything jumps and you are not at the post you want to see. I think it has to do with the part that colors the sticky post green. Thanks for the effort, Jeff! It works well on the webpage form too.

I've just got used to reading my email these days and I know how to make and where to find aff. links! :D

That sounds logical. Will you also call out specific coupons? E.g. the SUNNY16 coupon for Yoyo.com, or the (now expired) FNF630 coupon for Shopko etc. ?

We will try to keep up with the deals, good ones that are generally 20% and over off will make it in there.  Coupons make it in there that make sense to add.  If things ended, or deal is over, you can post here, PM someone or even send an email to [email protected] and all mods will receive an email.

I don't read my BrickPicker email, but feel free to point it out here or PM me.  I don't get offended if I missed something or need some constructive criticism.

It is meant to skip to that post (595899), no matter where you leave off it will also go back to that post

The problem is - it doesn't go to that post. I just got the notification saying you replied to my post, and when I clicked on it I could see the post for an instant, and then got teleported 5-6 posts earlier in the thread and had to scroll down to find the post again. Something in the sticky post code messes up the relative location of a post in the thread when you jump to it..... Can others confirm this?

Yes, I explained it offline to Jeff as well.

Jet.com

If you still have 15% off orders this is one possible way to go with it.

One word of warning: My 2 31050 from Jet.com fulfilled by Kaplan Toys came stacked on top of one another in a box slightly too shallow to hold both. As a result they were not in mint condition - though not too badly damaged - which didn't matter to me as they were for personal build anyways, but if buying for resale you might want to take this into consideration.

Thank you for the concern.  I have ordered about 10 Special forces Tie fights from Jet/Kaplan toys and all arrived packed one per box....nice minty or nearly mint condition.

As long as the product is not crushed - dents typically don't matter all that much (as long as you let a buyer know upfront).

A huge thank you for this feature because this allows me to easily find affiliate links without having to source out individual posts or posts by mods.
