It's pretty horrible

For anyone looking at Target, the "sale" prices are not all appearing when you filter Deals --> Sale.  You'll have to do some sleuthing using the product recommendations unless we all share direct links here.

I saw that too and was wondering if they realized the prices were a mistake and were trying to hide them instead of taking them down.

Looks like any double-discount on Scooby are gone.  Just single discounts now - if you can find the product pages.

It's actually 30% off.  RRP on the Lighthouse is $49.99.  (I know Target is showing their regular price at $40.99 and then 15% off of that is $34.84).

You are right, I just added the info from their site to show that it's discounted under RRP and on sale as well. 

The real questions is does this mean target is beginning its clearance and will we see it in stores soon

with buy it online, pick it up instore and many sets approaching 50% off with red card discount, the clearance is underway.  go ender dragon!  i am officially rooting for this set now that i've cleaned out the 2 nearby stores.  worst case scenario, i never need tan or black bricks again.

target just had its a$$ handed to them at the end of this quarter's "earnings season".  they need to get a move on to keep their share holders happy competing with amazon and walmart who are outgunning target at the moment sales-wise.  LEGO sale strikes me as a good sugar boost to the top line - not sure its a clearance - that usually comes up in a month or so. we might lucky with some more sales hopefully on some star wars.

For alot of people, amazons price is better because the red card discount doesnt cover tax.
