So now that Disney has taken over Star Wars Lego, we have seen their start up line of new sets. There are many people talking about overpricing, and the speculation of resurrecting some old sets example: is the Naboo Starfighter a sign of Disney bringing back old retired sets? They definitely have the ability to flood the market and make any new or old sets at any time they want, and for as long or short as they choose. Disney has the resources to overproduce, this could hurt the new sets for collecting, investing, and re-selling. Disney will not care about helping anyone but themselves and making money off the fans & children any way possible. It surely could add value to older sets. I am for one am very concerned, and will invest with caution. Star Wars has been a Lego staple since the dawn of it's time, but my question: is Disney going to be the end of SW Lego for collecting, investing, and re-selling?
