In Ep 8 news today (and as rumored), the release date has been delayed from May 2017 to Dec  2017.  We know Ep 7 was delayed due to a major script rewrites. I believe it's for a similar reason.

Star Wars: Episode VIII to Open December 15, 2017

The release date for the next film in the saga is confirmed.

Today, Disney and Lucasfilm announced that Star Wars: Episode VIII, originally scheduled for release in summer 2017, will now debut on December 15, 2017.

Written and directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars: Episode VIII is currently in preproduction and will begin principal photography in London next month. Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman will produce and J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski will executive produce.

I skipped the RFR from the week before last, since they had the TLJ trailer special so soon after.

I didn't know there were any other listeners on here. My brother and I are going to see TLJ premier with Jimmy, Jason, and other listeners here in Chicago. I'm pumped.

Yeah so I've heard. A couple weeks ago my brother went to that 1 man Star Wars trilogy show they were talking about on RFR, and he ended up hanging out with Jimmy Mac for a couple hours at a local bar after.

You guys are such dorks......and I mean that in the best way....

I'm ok with a new Captain Kirk...  Just like i'll  be with the new "Jake Lloyd" when he plays young Luke in the upcoming Obi-wan film.. . opps have I spoke too soon?

I am fine with young Luke as long as he stays in silhouette just like in Rebels

The porg minifigure sucks though.  If I pay 800.00 just to get a rehashed falcon, they could have at least made a porg mold..  Cheap slimeo's.

LEGO should release a buildable Porg with flapping wings(?) action, maybe 1/2 as tall as those buildable figures

That's too big.  Can't fit them on the spit in the Ewok Village.
