In Ep 8 news today (and as rumored), the release date has been delayed from May 2017 to Dec  2017.  We know Ep 7 was delayed due to a major script rewrites. I believe it's for a similar reason.

Star Wars: Episode VIII to Open December 15, 2017

The release date for the next film in the saga is confirmed.

Today, Disney and Lucasfilm announced that Star Wars: Episode VIII, originally scheduled for release in summer 2017, will now debut on December 15, 2017.

Written and directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars: Episode VIII is currently in preproduction and will begin principal photography in London next month. Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman will produce and J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski will executive produce.

I didn't realize Hayden hadn't been seen in awhile.

Well, I started with TLJ speculation, but yes.

Just like clockwork - the leaks start to appear around April, and I suspect by June we will see our first shots of the sets.  

I somewhat suspected the Finalizer could be the big set this year, and it looks like that could ring true.  If that's the case, I have a few 75055's still left to sell, and I was considering letting my son build one, but I think i'll wait and let him build the Finalizer since that's his generations movie.

I have been hearing locally that the star wars crew may be coming/have been back for some reshoots. Not sure exactly what but may have something to do with the MASSIVE water feature they dug out of a hillside

Did they put it back the way they found the area or did they just created a lake?/creek? and left it there?

Did they do the reshoot in 2017 ie. after a sudden death of beloved actress ??  

Water feature is a lake/pond with little island and a definite shape. Still there.

2017 reshoots, but Carrie fisher wasn't here for any of the filming last year.

I didn't move the scar, its just the same as before, its no different honestly its not moved, nothing to see here. Oh ok I moved it!

Surely knowing how intune with details SW fans are he cant of thought he could get away with deny deny deny!
