In Ep 8 news today (and as rumored), the release date has been delayed from May 2017 to Dec  2017.  We know Ep 7 was delayed due to a major script rewrites. I believe it's for a similar reason.

Star Wars: Episode VIII to Open December 15, 2017

The release date for the next film in the saga is confirmed.

Today, Disney and Lucasfilm announced that Star Wars: Episode VIII, originally scheduled for release in summer 2017, will now debut on December 15, 2017.

Written and directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars: Episode VIII is currently in preproduction and will begin principal photography in London next month. Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman will produce and J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski will executive produce.

The visual dictionary says they're launched via magnets and attract to their target after that.

They wouldn’t stick to the hull or the release calipers if magnetic?

....also the tie bombers were dropping on surfaces with a gravitational pull.

The best part of owning this on digital is that the movie is only about 20 minutes long now that I can skip past all the crap.

Snoke is a real clown.  I hate CGI villains.

If Luke is such a great Jedi, why didn't he know Han was dead?

Oh, I have the volume down, people are sleeping.  LOL.. Mary Poppins just flew through space...Pretty bad on high def.

I watched the deleted scenes. I can't believe that there was a longer cut of the Fathiers running through the casino.

The whole story line with Poe, Finn and Rose is weak IMO after watching it now and I'm not even done.

When he opened himself back to the Force, he must have sensed Kylo  & Snoke destroyed 5-6 planets (and killed millions) with DS3.  Why didn't he immediately board the MF and slap some senses to his ex student ??

I don’t think you sense past events like that. Otherwise Jedi would be feeling accumulated deaths over millennia all the time

That was one of my biggest issues with his storyline.  "WAAHHHHHHHH i am not going anywhere", "I don't care that the galaxy is about to be run by an evil empire", "I am going to sit here and drink my green goo", "Boo Hoo feel sorry for me"

Yoda should have beaten his ass.  He didn't learn anything.

I think they said that ach cho is simaler to Mortis in the Clone wars so it could be possible that he cannot feel anything outside of the planet.

Like I said, even without sensing,why didn't Luke want to go slap some senses to Kylo after Rey told him Kylo used DS3 to blow up planets? (If we go to "Rey never told Luke about DS3" then this movie is shittier that I thought )

Never thought I’d be one to defend any part of this movie but they never said Ach-to is immune from the Force (why would the Force using Jedi have a temple in such a place?) and I’m sure Rey did tell him what happened and he clealry said his time defending the galaxy with his laser sword was done. He feels any actions by him would have other more negative consequences. I agree with Hamill’s earlier thoughts that that is not The real Luke Skywalker, but I didn’t find this angle confusing in how it was presented. Stupid yes, but not confusing

Never said it was confusing.  Again, even without the Force sensing, Luke not wanting to take responsibility for what his ex-student did was just crappy story telling.  If he felt so bad about creating/not stopping Kylo, as soon as he heard what Kylo did with DS3, Luke should have gone and (at least try) to stop Kylo. F##k defending the galaxy.  It was about Luke taking responsibility of what he (thought he) did
