Not surprised.  LEGO love sharks almost as much as helicopters

I grabbed a few today and got I was lucky in getting 2 sharks. Did get 2 queens though, and a Animal Ranger (which is an excellent fig, love the skunk!)

Cleaned my local TRU of shark guys today. Think the count per box of these, quoted above, is slightly exaggerated. In 2 newly opened boxes, I found 5 in total! Also sparsely represented is the pig farmer and queen.

and for target crowd, are these in the 120 ct end cap display or 60 ct boxes you are finding?

My three favorites are 1. Tribal Woman 2. Queen 3. Wrassler that looks like the Ultimate Warrior. 

Makes me wonder if a WWE wrasslin' minifig line would be a hot seller?   Even though I haven't watched it in a long time, if they had a 1980's series with the stars of that era, i'd buy em'.

At target they were in the 60 fig box.

I'm a bit jealous of those of you who've found these out there, I've been to four TRU stores and maybe about 10 different targets in the past week (looking for other stuff too) everywhere I went had either nothing or three plus boxes worth of monster series. Good luck with the early game if you're playing, and save me a couple fauns and knights please!

Boxes were available for pre-order here in Europe end of december, delivered at home last week 14 januari. 

They're in the stores everywhere here right now, weird that USA's release is a few weeks later.

Ugh...over 400 in stock but only Series 14 are currently on sale.  Was the street date supposed to be 2/1/16?

My Target has always been very strict but over 400???  I am hoping shark guy is as easy as Medusa and Hot Dog Guy.

The only other one that really interests my daughter was the Jewel Thief which is rare and looks a little tricky...

That did not surprise me as several Targets around me just got series 14 retail display boxes (the 120 packs kind) around new year.

Back in the day you could get the thief along with her motorcycle and Batman for around 10 bucks

My target has individual CMF Series 15 packs out for sale already, since last week. Looks like just one box though. Shark Guy is extremely easy to smoosh, the Queen ditto. I was looking for a Ballerina for my daughter, that took me a solid 15 mins because you need to look for a hairpiece with a bun, and a flat skirt with a wavey pattern - that one sticks often to the baseplate so you need to really move the contents around a bit. Skunk catcher is easy too, with the big net. I found 2 farmers, easily recognizable due to the pig (just make sure it doesn't have a long tail, because that's the skunk from the Skunk catcher
