  • Wow! Tons of new footage in this one.

  • Here's an article that contains the first look of the cast from the new STAR WARS: Rogue One. After reading the article, it made me think that we will see Darth Vader again...and the old X-Wing...a

The toy packaging was revealed today... Not too shabby, I suppose.

I saw an AT-ST at Walmart today for $33 and the U-wing in a display. Both were very tempting but I'm holding out for now. These will be around a long time and my list of sets to build is already too long.

all i keep thinking is "i can't believe i didn't buy any of these sets at 30% off from B&N when i had the chance"

Black Friday is coming up and there will certainly be deals to be had, friend.  Plus, something tells me the Rogue One Sets will be around for awhile.

After hearing about the re-shoots, I'm worried it will be a tonal mess (i.e. it has an uneven tone).

After Ep 1,2, & 3 SW fans should be immuned to tonal mess by now :P

Well, fair enough. I guess I should say I'm afraid it will be a terrible pile of
... cinema.

Disney doesn't produce turds. Well, except the occasional Lone Ranger, John Carter, or Prince of Persia. But everyone's gotta poop, right?

That trailer is slick and I think it will be great movie!

It's like the Battlefront game, come to life.

I bet it will be a rush to watch, but a bit hollow.

Much like a video game.

I'm cool with that .. I don't live and breathe Star Wars so I enjoy the rush and go back to my regular life.

The aisle display that's been at my Wal-Mart is pretty much untouched, even all of the 6" Black Series figures.

That's because you live in Ohio, where there are no jobs, and the people spend their welfare money on heroin and meth instead of toys to numb the pain of their existence.  Except for you of course :P

This election has made me understand the plight of trump country like no other.

I agree.  I bought the Uwing on the force friday, and my son built it, but I just can't bring myself to buy any other sets.  I just know come february they will be found for 30% off and during the april clearance event next year will probably be landed for 50% with relative ease.  Of course, I haven't seen an AT-ST in the wild since opening day.  I see tons of Uwings and tie strickers and all those buildable figures that no one ever seems to buy.  But Krennics ship and the AT-ST have yet to make it to my local walmarts and targets.  Not sure why.  The other three are around though.

Wow Seagal is my all time 90's action hero, who didn't love Under Siege & Out for Justice ?

Anyways back on topic.

Rogue One as much I think this will better film than Force Awakens, I think the last trailer has given to much of the natural story arch away.

Plus like others have already said it will be very linear and hollow in storyline, as it is a stand alone film, one and done, it will be more style over substance.

Its great that will we see fimilar star wars technology ie: ISD's, Tie fighters , AT-AT, AT-ST, orignal stromtroopers, & X Wings.

But in typical Disney fashion, there are out to milk the franchise for all its worth with the edtion of U wing & Tie Striker

Don't get me wrong, I like the edtion of the Death Trooper and Shore Troopers.

But just don't go crazy, The point I'm trying to make is that the time line for this film is set right before A New Hope.

So why didn't we see any Tie Strikers and Death troopers in Star Wars?

People complained that there were no good new ships from the Force Awakens and now complain when Rogue One gives us new ships, which I at least think looks cool. No pleasing some people.

Because U Wings are troop transports and why would they have used troop transports attacking the Death Stars. It is a big galaxy you know.
