Anakin was likeable, if we could have got that character in the movies, they would have been better.

I credited the writers, it was not difficult to understand the characters' POVs in CW, good and bad guys alike.

But as good as CW was, Anakin and Padme still filled forced and unnatural.  They were together just because the movies demanded it.  Which was kind of weird because Palpatine and Anakin pairing in CW played out like the bridge between AotC and RotS.

But I digress...  Where is that CW thread again??  MOD!!!

:D

And the prequels gave birth to The Clone Wars, which was the best Star Wars material on a big or small screen since Empire Strikes Back.

I've watched the entire series, some of it was good, some of it was tough to get through, but saying the Clone Wars is better than Jedi is blasphemy.

To each his own. Jedi had moments--and the final act with Darth Vader and Luke was brilliant--but I can't forgive the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy having a wardrobe malfunction or those little teddy bears.

But on topic... I love what this trailer did to blend moments from A New Hope (or as us old-timers call it, Star Wars) with Rogue One. This was fan-made, right?

I thought it was very well done.... that's some real talent to seamlessly blend the _right_ scenes.

So which trailer has the scene at the end, where the droid dropped the backpack that was handed to it?

Not sure, but I think we all know what it means. :crying:

Is there going to be a another official movie trailer before release and when? I am feeling a little underwhelmed compared to last year´s hype. Disney never knowingly underpromote anything.

There are reports that the final trailer will be released with the premiere of Doctor Strange to be released on November 4th.

Thursday morning (tomorrow), on Good Morning America, the new Rogue One trailer will be released. Anyone able to find a leak online?

The joys of living on the west coast.  Since GMA starts at 4 AM Pacific, it should be live by the time I wake up.

Nice job, keep putting those X Wings and Ties in little Timmy´s head.

Way too much posh broad / ugly droid though and don´t blink or you´ll miss Vader.

This looks like it could be great - I really hope they don't f it up.

My enthusiasm for this movie just shot through the roof after watching that!  I'm all-in on Rogue One!

Extended trailers do worry me a bit.

But maybe in this case they’ve released a little more to entice people as we know this doesn’t have the same innate attraction that TFA had.

Forest Whitaker with Darth Maul style scrap metal legs. Nice!

So that uh rogue one trailer..... :good:

I showed the trailer to my sons before they headed off to school... (they didn't move during the trailer) Afterwards, the oldest turns and looks to me - "you're going to take us to see it right?" .. I refrained from giving him a big "Hell Yes!"

One teeny tiny disappointment ... give us moar Darth Vader please.

Over or under: Vader's appearance / scenes on the actual movie will be shorter than the length of this trailer (2:17 minutes) :P

looks great cant wait to see it!
