Now we just need Batman The Animated Series Batcave with villains and we are done. That cartoon was just as dark as the Christopher Nolan movies LOL. True classic in its own right.

The 2006 Batman theme tried to be Burton-like which was the basis for The Animated Series. I love that cartoon...especially the Batmobile.

Today (January 12) is the 50th anniversary of the show's debut. The reveal may or may not be tied to this date. We'll see...

Yea that hurts, I wish they would have made the sliding down the bat-poles like the old Batcave 6860

where you could send down Bruce & Richard (the bleeped you know what), and they come out as Batman & Robin

First day purchase for me.  Price may seem a bit high, but I have to have it as a fan.

Not to mention it has twice as much **** as the Juniors batcave.

All the above! I will still buy one to build. I was going to buy two so I had one to collect, now only time will tell what I do 

I'm going to have to build me a batcave for all this LEGO.

$270 for a fraction of a Bat Cave build is an odd choice. Of course, I'm still going to buy it anyway and that probably justifies their thinking.

Today is the 50th anniversary of the 1960’s Batman TV series and to commemorate the event, LEGO has officially revealed the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Batman Classic TV Series – Batcave (76052). The set contains 2,526 pieces and will retail for $269.99. It’ll be available for LEGO VIP members early on February 15-29 and to the general public on March 1. Drive the villains out from Batman’s Batcave!

Help Batman™ and Robin™ to drive the villain intruders from the Batcave, featuring a Bat Lab with Batcomputer, plus the Batmobile with stud shooters, Batcopter with flick missiles and the Batcycle. This special model, based on the classic 1960s TV show, also has a Wayne Manor section with an exterior wall to climb on and Bruce Wayne’s study featuring the iconic Batphone and a false bookcase that slides open to reveal the secret entrance to the Batcave.
