The AT DP is now retired.

The box is substantial, and it's not a bad part count, but it just doesn't do it for me for some reason.

I bought two of these sets along with a few Wookie Gunships, a Ghost and some First Order snow speeders.

bought it originally to go with the AT AT as a package deal, but I don't think it does now.

Should I return it with the Gunships and the ghost? I would roll the money back into 10240's I think.

Good question about this set.  Curious what others think.  I think it looks cool, but I also think it only has "play" value unless it is put into some sort of scene.  With the Hoth (rumored?) Ultimate Collectors Set coming sometime this year it could start a trend of more scene-like displays from Star Wars Lego as opposed to just giant versions of ships, etc.  If that happens, maybe this will become really hot one day when people are trying to fill their scenes with ships and walkers.  No clue, just speculating.

It was available less than a year and everything Star Wars is hot right now.  I found mine for 30% off so I bought them and am not looking back.  I don't expect a lot, but it could be an easy double by next Christmas at my buy in price.

I agree. My 7 year old loves this set and with SW being hot I think this is a $75 set by summer.

As a coincidence, today I finished a blog in which this set is also featured. Blog is currently awaiting review.

I agree that this is an interesting set and estimate it will do well in a year or so.

I never picked this one up, so by that usual corollary, should be $100 pretty quickly. :-|

On the Inquisitor question, I'd be higher on that fig if he had more ongoing screen time or showed up again somewhere down the line...

I wouldn't be surprised to see this thing hit $100 this holiday season.

Even with the new AT-ST on shelves?

Yup!

I'd be happy to see that happen. I was wondering whether or not to get rid of my small stock before the AT-ST comes out.

I dug out my modest AT-DP supply the other day and decided to pack them away again. It's a big, beautiful box, and I won't let mine go for such today's tiny margins. $100 or bust.

Hmm.  Saw one of these at my Barnes and Noble and didn't give it a second thought since it was in the normal Lego section.  Looked it up on the website and it shows as 50% off.  Might have to head back over there, but I'm not a Rebels fan by any means as I don't watch the show.
