I know this was mentioned in the UCS thread, but probably worthy of its own. Hoth Bricks has pics and info on the new UCS X-Wing, Price will be $199.99 US and it looks like it will come out in May.

Doing a little travelling today and I am in Birmingham, AL.  The B&M store down here had three Red Fives in stock.  Plus all the usually stuff (DS, FW, KM, Simpsons House, Pet Store, etc. 

Did the UCS X-Wing retire?

There's a thread dedicated to this set and you can check S@H yourself.  Unless it's listed as retired product there, most people don't know.

That could tempt me but, I've still not heard from CS yet regarding my ban, I keep forgetting to call them. I'll get the other half to order at work if need be.

Yeah, I know.  I felt bad every time I looked at another set.  My heart sank with another 40+ number.  At least I redeemed myself by looking, since I usually forget.  lol

Yes. Lego is totally milking us. You wouldn't believe how poorly this sold until just about six months ago. I was buying sets with early 2014 seals back in May.

41R5 is the same code that people have been reporting since October.  All the Red5s I obtained recently from amazon have been 41R5.  It's actually encouraging to me that there isn't something more recent on the shelves of the LEGO store.  Put the Cristal on some ice.  32 days 21 hours, 55 minutes til lift off.

Partly also because the new star wars movie is still far from minds of most folks except the most loyal fans.

This. People who should know better posting about how they picked up 10 PS or whatever. Such a sad sight.

There's a point where it's more advisable to let it die and buy something else. That time has come for PS multiple times.

Didn't see this in the new catalog.  Who knows..probably wasn't in the last one either.  If these still have the same date codes this could be a decent investment.  Depends on how many they made that week.    I only have 5 of them.  Not getting any more either

 The time for PS hasn't come multiple times.  Grand Emporium Sold OUt in October last year.  Fire Brigade went in December the year before.  October-December is modular retirement season.  We're in the thick of it.

I have completely ignored this set for a long time (except for a couple I got early, including one for myself)... I might get a couple more over the next couple months. 5 total looks like a pretty decent goal.

Some would say the time for this set's eol was last October-December but the horde just made it so darn profitable for TLG that they retired something else instead. Maybe they will do it again since people can't just not wipe every one they see out in minutes
