Plenty of people will want one misb, I think  50 less would be about right when it comes down to what you'll get for it vs a mint box example.  I'd get it myself.

LEGO Shop at Home Europe shows a stock level of 416 R5s after a restock of 175 sets. S there's still a little bit of time left for the moment.

The Lego is stored at the attic, this stair prevents theft.. Or even better, will break the neck of an actual thief trying to steal my Lego's. See it as a sort of safety measure ;-)

Can't go with the attic option, myself.  If I can't break into the box and play with the bricks, neither can the spiders.

Got mine today with a 34R5 code on it.

Yippee!  Lego might as well have stamped it "Yesterday"...

I'm more curious if the 34R5 is the fixed batch or not. Is it?

Edit: sorry... read the comments right after the WALL-E thread, head's spinning... lol

Can someone explain the 34R5 code and what that entails? Got a set on Friday from Shop@Home, box was not mint after shipping.

Ordered another set yesterday, but could not remove polybag tractor promo. Not thrilled with what the box will look like after that add to the shipping.

As as soon as I ordered another Red 5, the Lego site said availability 9/20. I also asked Lego customer service for another sticker sheet for the 10240 (just in case), and that's also on back order.

Finally, all Lego stores in Chicagoland area are sold out and don't expect anymore shipments anytime soon.

It's the time stamp for the manufacturing batch.

34 = 34th week of the year.

R5 = 2015 (all the ones this year will end with 5)

Not wanting to take this off topic but I'd read the letter might stand for the production plant:
Production Plant
H = Nyíregyháza, Hungary
R = Ciénega de Flores, Mexico
S = Kladno, Czech Republic
Q = Purkersdorf, Austria
B = Shenzhen, China (Not Confirm)
M = Billund, Denmark (Not Confirm)
O = Billund, Denmark (Not Confirm)

Is true do you know or just speculation?

The expected ship date on the Red-Five UCS is now 9/14/2015 on Lego Shop @ Home. This is 6 days sooner than what the site had listed yesterday (9/20/2015).

It sounds like there's some life left, but the 2 set limit, quick Out of Stock, the "Hard to Find" label, and brick and mortar Lego stores and 3rd party retailers (e.g., Wal-Mart, Toys 'R Us, etc.) pretty much out of stock has me thinking 10240 is gone by 2015.

With the Lego Tractor promotion (which you can't have removed from your order) being added to my shipment of another Red-Five, should I be worried that the polybag will damage the incoming 10240 box? I'd like an extra minty one to stow away.

Thoughts?

The later ship date on the R5 should help in this case.  They'll most likely send the tractor polybag out immediately and the R5 at a later date.

Thanks. They shipped together it looks like (and fast). Anyone ever have a large set shipped with polybag from Shop @ Home with no damage to the larger set box?

Yes as long as they don't throw the box on top of the polybag it'll be fine.

Hopefully you will have no damage to your X-Wing. I received a box on Fri from LEGO Shop at Home with 1 Pirates Chess set, 5 ToT, and 1 tractor polybag. Guess what? The tractor polybag was at the bottom of the box and the Pirates set was on top of it. There were a few small indentations in the set from sitting on top of the polybag. The ToTs were all in mint condition as they were on the placed parallel to the chess set.

This is the first time It has happened to me though so I'm not too bent out of shape. Well, that and it wasn't an X-Wing!

Wow, my app has gone wild! After I tried to post, I got a bunch of errors so I just gave up. Come to find out, it posted the same thing like 2.1 million times
