I ordered mine from the lego store on Feb 25 (US)... and just saw they updated the page saying that it will ship around Mar 15!!!

What I think is funny is it is like the EEE in reverse.

EEE is probably more popular in Europe so it is retired there.  Here they raised it to limit 5 (if memory serves) and are trying to unload stock.

 

Star Wars is so popular in the US that they are having to finish filling and pulling more stock for the US

But overseas in Europe there is plenty.

 

So like the SSD continued to be available in Europe for several months after the US was gone I suspect the same thing will happen here with Red Five too.

The european horde did a fine job I remember. Maybe too good in my opinion. 

If I had two months of buying SSD's over another region of the world, I would consider several.
