I saw a picture of this display that I really like and want to replicate.  What is the black (obviously) rounded edge piece that gives it the smooth front edge look? 

I think it's a slope 2 x 4 x 4 with studs, but I've blind searched brick link with no luck.  it's a flat piece at the top where the studs are so it secures bricks underneath.  

Help would be fantastic.

Is that what he uses? cause it almost looks like it extends over the other bricks, as if it has a flat level of studs since it's taller.  maybe that is it and he just put a flat 2 stud row behind it and that's what's confusing me.

this is the part that lead me to believe there is a brick then a plate behind the piece in question. 

yeah I couldn't tell if there was a seem there.  I think you are right with the piece you found. then he put 2 stud row plates behind it. Thanks a lot!

 

I really like this design and how it's modular so you can add more sections as the collection grows. great way to show off the mini figures and hold lots of them at the same time. Can always go up another row or two as well.

just made it (on ldd) 150 pieces and thru BL bout $35 in light bluish gray ( I didn't like black)

oh you just made the same type of display from this design??  would think light bluish grey is more expensive? 

for that piece x24 in black $3.30, in LBG $5.40. so yea more.
