Hello fellow Brickpickers,

I have just noticed that of Technic sets with any significance, 42039 Le Mans Race Car was the only one without dedicated topic (whereas the previous 42000 racer has 3!), so I figured I'd correct the injustice

Please feel free to share your opinions on the design and naturally, its investment potential.

There is currently a great deal going on it on Dutch Kruidvat website (only today) and I was wondering if it could ever be found for less than 70€ in Europe? I figure it's quite a decent price for its value.

You can build the F1 car with this set, so you'd better buy your two copies now.

Strakka Racing (the plucky British privateer team that runs in the World Endurance Championship) made a scale model of their Gibson LMP2 using the 42039
