Decent amount of the new city sets in the January 2016 wave are now on LEGO Shop at Home with official images. I really like the look of the fire boat. I've always been a fan of the large hull boats.

 

The Fire Station is better than last years....and maybe even better than the one I have(7208). I feel like my 7744 is the best police station in recent years, but that's just me and I like sets with high piece counts.

I think there might be something to the prison island. I did a double take on it when I saw it in the store and when I do that it usually means it's not completely worthless....haha. As a collector, I could myself paying more for it after EOL, but not TOO much. So...yeah....probably all in or not at all on that one for a reseller.

The box art for Prison Island makes it stand out w / the rocks under it, a miniature Alcatraz if you will.  I also find myself looking at it longer than most City sets.

Haha, it is... but it's got lava balls you can launch in the air! There is a small light bluish grey lever on the back side and the box art shows them flying through the air!

I don't know how I'll make my Mustafar MOC with this volcano.

This is kind of a whacko theme.

I'm passing on all these, even on clearance

First honest reaction was "meh".  The lime green color scheme is just not for me
