It was time.  I was so tired of my son begging me to buy those dang things every time we went to the store.  I'm ecstatic to see the death of the Mixels line!!  Of course, now he'll probably want Ninjago instead.

You, sir, are now on my list.

I just sold my last of Series 3 Mixel sets and for the most part am out of the Mixel investing game. Beyond some randoms, I only have one full set of each (save for Series 9).

I liked the creativity. Guess it's time to start building them.

I don't follow mixels at all, so I don't follow this thread either, but maybe somebody can tell me what the heck does mixel pictured below has hanging in front below the belt!?!?!?

His head is like the traditional television set with the "rabbit ear" antennas. The red stud is probably meant to be the light or dial that shows when powered.

I don't remember those old TV's having a "buckle" ... who vets these Mixel designs? First the window licker and now the buckle dick?

Anyone keeping track of Mixels prices? Seems like Frosticons series 5 seem to be doing better than series 2.

I've noticed series 5 mixel prices have risen in BL, averaging $10 each. People aren't buying them, but people are trying to sell at that price.

Tru east coast this week Tuesday I found some

I picked up all of Series 9 last Saturday at TRU.

S9 sold out LEGO Shop at Home europe

What what?  Series 9 has been out for a few weeks now.  The kids have already put them all together, lol.

Called Lego today about an order, I asked about these and they said they will be getting more in UK

I know mixels aren't exactly a lego "set", however these are performing very good in UK. Might be the first set after RE to reach 3x RRP.

In UK series 9 was only released at lego stores and online. Supposedly these were meant to be released outside of SAH but for some unknown reason the regular mixels sellers tesco / WHSMITH / argos etc did not receive the final series. Hence these are one of the few "rare" lego items released in 2016 that was available generally at SAH.

Complete sets were selling for 3x RRP, but have now dropped to about 2.5 x RRP.

These have been one of the few things I have been buying directly from lego recently, as they were one of the few things that were genuinely "Exclusive" to SAH.

What's the future of series 9? Well in UK, if other stockist don't get series 9 then these will reach 5x RRP easily by next year.

Yes mixels profit is not much compared to the big star wars UCS or modulars, but there easy to buy and are fast sellers.

I hope some of you caught on to the trend and bought some sets, I was lucky and found out early these would be rare so manage to pick up a good number. 

Nowadays you need to diversify, I would never have bought mixels before as dont watch the show or would build them, but once realised the potential I loaded up.
