They are getting harder to come by depending on where you live. If you can get them by you, good.  

The closest store to me is 2 hours away but you can have a store ship to you.

I'd pay the $50 to not have to drive 2 hours back and then 2 hours back again.  Maybe not a deal for you, but based on questions I get, others may find it interesting.  Its sold out in many of the big box places. If you can't find one near you and don't want to drive 4 hours, this is an option for someone.  Buy it Now on eBay is $270 + shipping fees.  Maybe it will come back in stock at LEGO, maybe not.

Is it ok to post a pick up only lot on BC? I just posted a large lot on craigslist and was thinking about putting it on BC but it's too big to ship.

Thanks - I was thinking maybe it had a search like option for different Lego sets or items but this is good as well.

Am I missing the good deal listings you mention?  I'm not seeing them on the home page.

I am new to selling on BC, but have been selling on eBay for years (although not Lego).  The hard thing for me is that depending on volume of sales on eBay, my fees and shipping can reach as high as 27%.

That being said I agree with trying to sell on BC at lower prices because of the lack of fees. I am trying to find that happy medium and would love any feedback on my listings.
