Tempted to get a few more calenders but I'm not so sure on this one.

I got kinda lucky, not a big score but my 2 local ones had the hulk busters smash for like £26.49 and they both had 3 in stock last night so I reserved 6 and works out at like £17.60 each or something, cheapest I've bought them yet. Gotta keep adding them to the pile.

Nice work.  HB back up to 29.99 (that 3.50 makes all the difference).  Was tempted to get some JW but of course its all sold out.

2 R5s and an Arcos, all that was left in stock locally.

And your point is? This is the Argos 3 for 2 thread if you hadn't noticed, seemed like an appropriate place to discuss the deal.

My point is someone posted on the thread last week that it started on Friday 6th.

I hope you get them in pristine condition without any "catalogue number" stickers plastered over the boxes!  I rejected all 36 Dolphin Cruisers last year when I noticed that the first 10 I looked at were scuffed and covered in white stickers. I choice that I still don't regret. I'd make an exception if R2-D2 was still around.

I'm expecting a few rejects, but I'll just refuse them. I've ordered them all into store so with any luck there shouldn't be too many bad apples.

Don worry about the stickers from Argos there super easy to remove with a hair dryer.

Box condition is usually really bad, I got super lucky earlier in the year though, all 10 r5 I bought were excellent

Be carefull with Argos... If you bought 9 sets at £90, 9 at £60 and 9 at £30.... Only the 9 £30 sets will be free. Split your orders up into same priced items and then see the queue behind!

Any Padawan stickers are very difficult to remove.

Yeah I was only talking about the white stock labels. Have not had experience with the others

Anyone managed to reserve any Red 5's? I've been trying to order some in for months in anticipation of a 3 for 2 deal but to no avail. There's only ever one or two kicking around at stores near me and I'm not interested in buying any other sets to make up the offer.

I’ve been watching this on Argos eBay, it’s been sat at live but out of stock for weeks. Couple of days ago… 
 

I see Argos has last years SW advent calendar available (75056).  They're worth picking up for a quick flip right?  Or has the market reached saturation point on these and not really worth the effort?

Also slightly off topic but when did R5 get moved back to "Hard to Find" at LEGO Shop at Home EU?

Yeah I couldn't get any more R5'S either, so instead bought like 18 Elsa's castles 41062, 20 a pop and well worth a punt. I may buy a load more hulk busters, can't really decide because I already have tonnes of them, but I just love the potential of this little set.

Any one have a rough idea of when the next 3-4-2 is?

Last year we had them in July, August, September and November. 

If the Sainsburys buy out goes ahead we may not get them and even if we do if stock is anything like now, it’ll be a none event.  For me at least Argos has fallen off the map for everything except CMF’s and Mixels. Shame when I look at the R2’ and red5’s I picked up in 2014
