Are these for purchase or freebies over $x?

Are these for purchase or freebies over $x?

If it's like last year it will be both.

I'm steering clear of investing in these but I'd really like to have a complete set of these to go with my set from last year.

The tru I went to last year in canada wouldn't sell it. Had to be with$ x purchase.

And that's why it's sat on the shelf since then.  lol

Well, the TRU I was at today *still* has some of last year's out on the shelf, and they are still $20.

I was just thinking about these today and what they would be doing.

Goes well with Clearance items that I need.  Makes it a little easier to buy stuff when a $20 set is kicked in.

These are pretty cool. Will this cause a sudden interest in the 1st series from last year?

Those were pretty much a surprise dud last year. There are still several on the shelf at our very busy local TRU. Little to no interest in these.

I think the market for these at premium rates are mostly for international customers.  Domestically, folks may know they have some time to fill their collection.

These don't do a lot for me personally but the TRU store is cool. I will probably try to flip a few like I did last year if I can find something else worth buying. My TRU would not sell them directly.

If only the hotel had a helicopter instead of a plane....

The train station is my favorite.

I think I like the hotel best.

My wife works at a bakery (she's front office type). I may have get an extra bakery so she can have one for work.

I wonder if anybody has ever contemplated designing full-scale modular houses based on these Bricktober mini-modulars?

My TRU still has all of last years sets.

So, is flipping TRU in the TRU parking lot permitted?

Man, I would love to see that.

Well, there's a Bakery this time around...

Did the sets from last year do anything to make investing in these worth the effort?

Decide for yourself:

I take it that Week 1 for US isn't Sept 18-24 as I haven't heard much of anything yet.

10/1

No, but the thought process for many back then was that if they released a second series that the first series would be in higher demand. We shall see.

Bricktober = October

10/4

I'm just asking because of the pic w/ the dates above said Week 1 (Sept 18-24). I couldn't remember last year if it actually started 10/1, the week of 10/1 (9/27 in this case), or the first full week of October, which would be 10/4 like Pseudoty mentioned. I don't belong here if I don't at least know Bricktober = October. Gimme some credit, man! Ha

I also hope my TRU learns how to open a box this year. Most of my sets from last year are sliced on one side
