August 25, 201510 yr Saw this set linked in the comments about the new WV Toy shop over at Brickset. See what you think. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/107984
August 26, 201510 yr Really, really nice. Hopefully LEGO has something like this in the works for the Modular line, it would fit perfectly in any city with any of the old or even new trains. If I were a collector of the line I would actually consider buying one just like the one pictured, very well done.
August 26, 201510 yr A great build with some cool details on the inside. my only problem with this idea is that I wouldn't want a train running behind every building. Would feel like Mr. Rodgers, where the castle was on train tracks.
August 26, 201510 yr it's nice on it's own but doesn't fit with the modular line. can't put it up against another one and have a random one piece of track and a train behind it. then you'd have to have a track behind all and that doesn't match buildings in itself. if it were a stand alone where you had space between modulars and the track bent around in different ways sure. but no, not for the modular line.
August 26, 201510 yr Here's hoping that Lego does come out with a proper train station at some point. I mean, they've made dozens of trains and the only stations they've come up with have been pit stops. They made the nice train shed for World City which was really cool, but never a really good station that could be easily incorporated into a city. Edit: 7997 isn't too bad, but still smaller than I'd like to see. Edited August 26, 201510 yr by Huskers1236

August 26, 201510 yr Agree, would like to see a large modular or very large stand alone for a train station l.
August 26, 201510 yr The moment we get a standalone modular, the Internet will break from the complaining about it not fitting with the rest of the modulars and "what does this mean for Lego investing" because this is sending a clear message.
