I'm suspecting flex hose inserted into the bottom of a plate, most likely a 3x2 with hole.

I tried on LLD but it's to frustrating with all the angling.  I'ld need real pieces.  If you figure it out please let us know

I didn't mention it but yes, my assumption was 3 rods all along.

I've found manually editing the angle in the little window can help with that a lot. You might have to do some actual math to figure out the appropriate angle to tweak to... but once you have the first 3 on the bottom layer, you can duplicate up the stack. Totally unsure what Phil means with the flex hose attachment though. :( Clearly you get it... so yea.. manual angle edits rather than trying to rotate just right by hand.

Edit: Forgot those little triangles have clips on their backsides.... thought it was just a pin like many of the old shield parts.... hence the curiousity on the flex hose. With clips, it makes sense. Manual angle setting still for the win.

Durham cathedral moc built by the cathedral for fundraising took 3 years to do (people payed £1 to place a brick so not a bad earner if you think of less than 10 pence per piece on average) I placed 10 bricks so kind of a moc:D
