When I die I'm hoping that my ghost can attend the estate sale and watch all of you vultures fight over my stash of Joker Steamrollers.

When's that? So I can mark it in my calendar.

Hopefully not any time soon so that my stash has time to "mature" and make it worth your while.

I'll mark December of 2112

I'm sure elkthunder will have a good story when he gets home tonight- he's probably still there packing up. Must have gotten about 30 modulars- about 1/2 are custom. The layout was amazing, but I didn't have time to admire it.

Now to sort. I have no instructions for the MOCs but hoping to track them all down.

Album with Some pics here- https://flic.kr/s/aHskW9Shqa

The FAST AUTO Modular's instructions where on sale from BrickBuilder's Pro on EBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CD-Modular-Auto-Car-Dealership-Lego-Custom-Instructions-cafe-10182-corner-city-/141385195694?rmvSB=true&nma=true&si=ZjLNtNin2vumWCnAVUrgwqwnfAA%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Same for the White Lion pub: http://www.brickbuilderspro.com/the-white-lion-english-pub-pdf-instructions/

Guess you can find many of the others there as well ... just took a quick cursory look.

yea, i found brickcitydepot, brickbuilderspro have most. A few more I have to find.

It's funny because i saw the rental truck and thought to myself: this guy is going for the whole city. Lol, I was right. I was #3 and figured there was no one who would pay up for that set. I raided the pool table but left a lot behind. Glad to hear that there was enough for the grandmother. She was asking me if there was any left as I loaded my car and I thought it was all spoken for so I said no.

The guy was definitely into high end things and had deep pockets. He had good taste too.

So it seems I have the parts for a custom record store, and a comic book store. No instructions or decals though, and I can't find them online. Anyone know where I can get them?

Thanks. It says out of stock though [emoji36]

Phoenix is a competitive area. I'm sure those won't be had for a bargain.

Yeah, no kidding. Hunting for bargains here is sprinting towards frustration.

So I was able to buy a copy of the digital instructions file from brickbuilder. It was a backup file not meant for purchase, but order went through and I have a digital copy. Only caveat is no sticker sheet. Now what to do with a finished building that is a blank canvas.9679b9741cb3e825b5048ee500968d32.jpg

There are people on EB that specialize in making stickers.  You could ask over there if anyone would be willing to take on the challenge.

Here is my improvised solution. Sticker quality is not as good, but it beats blank boards.0bddff9782cf1a5d4a4448c6db54dd6c.jpg2392c8f1ea41a3b4aee95fa852136bb7.jpg802ba6cc346a779485850634226e05cc.jpg
Planning to add more shelving to the interior of the storefront.
2nd floor is vacant

This bit was extremely sad, & hit me like a slap to the face.
There are boxes and boxes of Lego in my basement that I "haven't gotten around"  to building.
Instead of the constant obsession to find the next clearance price or sales opportunity, I'm building a set with my son tonight.
Gather ye rosebricks, friends.

Its bittersweet taking over part of his collection, but at least this one is seeing the light of day.

I have not been in this thread for a while, but glad you were able to get a copy of the instructions. The building is not too bad to modify. We put a grocery/convenience store on the bottom and moved the comic shop upstairs in our building....
