Is it too soon to start speculating about Series 14 minifigures?   ....It's never too early to speculate about upcoming Lego releases.
I normally wouldn't care but this actually sounds awesome.  How about an entire Series devoted to one theme...like Monsters.

There seemed to be piles of S1 Simpsons CMF at every store (including LEGO store), until they sold those with deep discounts

this is correct. towards the end of the clearance cycle this store received an unusual butt load as they put it. usually they set the limit 32 on any CMFs, even clearance, but they wanted them gone. i think i picked them up for $1.98/each

A VERY strong line up here. Those are my top 3 also elk. I'm digging the crazy scientist too, probably won't be strong in the secondary market.

CMF monsters! Nuff said. These will all be strong. (Cant wait) Ive already asked my local toy shop for two sealed cases.

These look awesome. I've never bought sealed cases of CMF's before, but I think I will with this series. Also, the thing I like most from looking at the pictures is that each one seems to have a very distinguishable part, which should make smooshing a breeze. 

One more thought...not that the HH needs a bonus to increase its value or appeal to a potential buyer, but what do you think about including a full set of these figures with a HH. List as an auction at just a little above the market rate for the HH and watch the bids fly!

I have to correct myself, she is a banshee, (banshees are classified as female spirits). The other one is the spectre/wraith.

It depends on how many of each are in a box. Personally I would guess 6, 8, 10 and 13 but again it depends on which ones are the 'rare' ones.

These figures may maintain similar values but I have a suspicion that the zombies might get some extra attention. People like zombies. 

This one has such a great spread though. 2 suit characters, 3 zombies, the ghosts and so much awesomeness across the whole set. Probably my favorite series so far

This one looks great. Fortunately the zombies are not brides and groomes. So maybe Lego still loves us?
