where/how can you purchase a full unopened box? do I need to flirt with the manager of my LEGO store or what?

Haven't seen any for sale yet.  Minifiguresplus is an ebay store that always has them for pre-order, usually about ~10% off but I haven't seen any for this series yet. 

 

I remembered a time when there were some degrees of challenges involved in smooshing.  They may as well sell these new figs in clear bags

Why smoosh when you can buy the case?  HA!  Actually, this will be the first since S10 I have bought cases of these, they will be a home run and doubt they'll be around very long with their specificity of theme.

Nope, that's it.  This is where you can get them when  they're available.  They probably had one sent from LEGO and us lackys don't get a chance at them yet.

They changed the distribution with $1 price increase.  Before that you could only get 2 complete sets per box.  

Now you get 3 complete sets per 60ct box (but you have to pay $4 per bag )
