Simpsons series 2 minifigures, were available for a significant discount on amazon france if I remember correctly.  Any sign of the Monster minifigures?  I poked around their site but did not see anything.

They were still being sold for $80+ per complete sets on ebay though, minus the $180 cost.

71010 is $235 per box...minus $80 per complete sets...doesn't make sense to me...unless you're holding until retirement...

the value and prices have no meaning to me. All I know is that I like series 14 and can t stand Simpsons no matter how much they go on sale.  And if the price doesn't make sense, then here is a breakdown, if a set of series 14 cost 80 and you get 3 sets per case then that equals out to 240 for three sets with 12 extra figures left over to do what you please. Not to mention when these retire they will surely double in price. But that's only if you care about the money. All in all, this series is excellent, no matter what your Lego status is.

Yeah, the $50 and $25 are still working.  I was thinking that $50 X 3 plus $25 X 3 will get me to $225, so I can just about buy a case of 71010.  Does anyone know if ebay limits the number of giftcards you can use on one single item purchase?  I ask this because I was using some B&N giftcards a couple weeks ago and learned that their website will only let you use 3 giftcards in a single purchase, no matter the value of those giftcards.

Yes, they do, but it's several.  I want to say 8-ish, although I wasn't paying that close attention.  It'll erase all the cards you've entered and tell you it had technical difficulties.

It might've caused a bit of cursing at my house this morning before I figured it out.

The more I look at these, the less I like this series.  But Bigfoot, the Fly, and Banshee are just awesome!  The rest are a pass in my OPINION!  The cougar woman is by far the worst one.  Hopefully Series 15 is a episode 7 star wars line.  Timing would fit…. yes, I know I know… but I can dream, cant' I?  Notice how there hasn't been any announcement to what's next?  Now that it's owned by disney, anything can go, right?

As long as Hasbro has the action figure rights Lego wouldn't be able to sell a Star Wars CMF series.  From my understanding  they would need to make it some kind of buildable set or do a limited give away promo.  But then again that's just my...

I've seen the price tag (but no product yet) in Walmart's in my area, still $3.98! For now at least.

I've been using 4 GCs per eBay purchase all day. I've only been buying the $50 ones.

My experience has been to order single cases (since it's free shipping anyway) because they tend to tape the cases together creating one long package. Rather than double boxing & UPS isn't very kind...
