Not a chance. I built one of these and it is so detailed that you'd need a full list to be safe.

If those plastic bags at the bottom are empty, then it's incomplete. The telescope is entirely missing along with a portion of the telescope mechanism on the turntable and some of the cabin. I have 4 of these built in my collection.

And reason for price in my opinion - it was the best Crane of its kind up until the release of 42009 which will be eclipsed by 42043 in a few days now. They (as well as 8258) were all designed by the same designer.

Then he's probably willing to make a better deal than $75 if you can convince him it's not likely complete and will be costly to complete.

Does he have all the instruction books? Looks like only one in the picture which should be a concern.

Just make sure the tyres and the pneumatic cylinders are there. They're the main costly parts of the kit.
