Local WM had 10 of these the other day, but got two today as there was a mom who picked up one for her son.  She and I were talking about how impossible it was to find, it didn't show up on Walmart's app, and the crazy ebay prices.  :)  43R5.  Had a good dozen or more of the 75915 and picked up two of those as well.

They were just stopping the shelves in my area around 2 am last night so go out and check this morning if you haven't already.  When they put the pallets out I can normally find 1 or 2 Lego boxes on the toy pallets but last night there was at least 15 different Lego boxes.

Not sure how newsworthy, but RE was removed from walmart.ca. That being said, their website has been "a little glitchy" before and they often seem to have issues. Strange to remove just one JW set, though...

Maybe I'm not the only one that has been pounding them with emails about their pricing practices

Raptors are in the wild. I just found some 43R5.

Thanks to the restock tip from a few other guys this past week I found some Raptor Escapes at 5 different Walmarts on Saturday.  All seal codes 43R5 as others have reported.

How much were they at WM?

$40

Still a good sign. Time to buy all RE even the $80 one's from Walmart online.

Dang, if these are already getting a retired mark in the EU, then maybe check back in February tag does mean they will get that mark here in the states too.

This is such a tough set to gauge.  This set is plugged up at amazon around 70.00, and has been that way for a while now.  I'm hoping that the holiday sales rush knocks out half the stock on the sites, but i'm not that confident.  Since discounts on this one were non existent, the profit is around 30% of RRP at the moment.

Set 8092 was a Wal-Mart exclusive that lingered at Wal-Mart looong after it was done at SAH. It was not a great investment ultimately IMO. I made money on them but barely. This set could be that way too. You never know. I certainly won't be buying at more than MSRP anytime soon.

If you wanna compare apple to oranges...then the 10179 did extremely well though.

Raptor Escape always has been the most rare. At least in my area.

Just ordered two at RRP.

Agreed. This christmas season will be interesting to see how non SW toys do as compared to SW toys once the aftermath of the movie ensues.

Perhaps the removal of this set from walmart.ca was no coincidence then. Maybe Canadian walmarts aren't slated to get any new RE stock, even after Christmas. I know US walmarts are seeing 43R5 stock, but I haven't seen/heard of any Canadians pulling from those runs...

I thought this too a while back. However it has been removed and added back to the site at least once. Still added to this sets oddness though since as you stated they usually only remove stuff from the site they don't expect stock of in the near future.

Wait, What? 10179 was a $500 set that was not a Wal-Mart exclusive. It did not linger. You can't compare anything to 10179.  By all metrics, 8092 should have been a home run. 5 iconic figures and a great vehicle. Reasonably priced. It would have been if it hadn't stuck around for sooo long. Raptor Escape may end up being a great investment long term. Or Wal-Mart may choose to keep it in stock for 2 more years, long after it is marked retired at SAH. I'm just saying use caution and don't go hog wild buying at greater than MSRP, especially not $80.

Yes, sure....MSRP is a great buy for this set, it will double in 6 month after EOL...may be a year. I dont think WMT getting much more, it will be weired to keep just one JW set in stock...

Yes the market is definitely flooded on this one right now, but when you mix that with a few million parents seeking them out for xmas it might not be such a bad investment.

Makes sense.  Plus, usually what retires in the EU is usually a precursor that it's time is coming to an end in the US.  The US just gets pumped with a lot more stock than the EU since we have 50 million big box stores scattered around about every square mile of this country.
