  • Picked up some take-out tonight. They are already running some kind of cross-promotion with restaurants...

  • I got back to working on this since it was raining out today. I would like to be done so I can build all the new SW sets but have about 4-6,000 pieces left.

  • Love the Santa photo - I updated it with the appropriate caption.

The worst thing about the sales is that I cannot pick up one of these for £125.

Come on Lego, let it off the leash.

I guess they don´t have many left. That actually might be a good thing for residuals as this set was never really discounted in Europe. However it really has stayed around a long time compared to the US.

Smyths had it for £115 last year.  I’m a lot less optimistic about it now, it’s been around too long and the ninjago movie sets will likely cap out demand and price.

My feeling is that they are selling the last production run now (44S7), then it will go. There is no backlog of sets produced months ago (with Lego themselves anyway).

First exclusive to retire in the US this year, last in Europe. Go figure.

Should I buy it now or not, this is the question...

In case I do, they think they can get rid of them without any discounts...

In case I don't, it can happen that it will retire withou tany discounts anyway...

What a dilemma...

What dilemma is there to have with 90 day returns?

You are right - in case of any discount I can ask them to adjust the price...

You´d have to return it and buy again,  think.  They might give you VIP points instead.

I bought one from Smyths (as mentioned above) last year. Was hoping to see a similar price again and look at getting some more. That never happened.

Looks like a bunch of fraudulent $19.99 listings went up on US eBay. Sellers with 0 feedback and different locations.  Reported all of the listings. Idiots beware.

Looks like Target finally sold out.. VERY low seller count on EBay. If you don't have one and want one, you better hurry. They will be $300+ in no time.

Considering it retired in the US a year ago, one would expect sooner and better returns.

Retired from SAH then, but readily available at Target/Target EBay for RRP for all of 2017. So that affected things quite a bit.

AoH going the same way. Target not willing to blow out retired sets like amz & wm.

Temple will get there. It's a good set (unlike hoth). Ninjago City could limit it's growth though.
