  • I got back to working on this since it was raining out today. I would like to be done so I can build all the new SW sets but have about 4-6,000 pieces left.

You might be right. With Lepin catering for the cheapskates, too expensive for many parents´ wallets  and a very limited appeal to AFOL´s I doubt it has been a top seller.

For surprise retirements, it´s between this one and SHIELD, or maybe both will go.

Nothing a "retiring soon" tag cannot fix.

My Lego store had this set at $99 two weeks ago so I cleared the shelf (I bought three)

Exactly, for any Lego brand store to mark ANYTHING down there has to be a pretty good reason.

Here we go again.

This is a September 2015 set, same as Tumbler a year back so it is fair game. Why retire it before the movie? Why retire HH before Halloween?

I know seal codes are not the end all be all of a set's retirement, but I am yet to see one with a 2016 production date.  Has any one seen a current seal code for this set?  Pretty sure it's done.

Here you go:

Your Dutch Lego store prices sets in dollars?

Just pulled the trigger on two from Downtown Disney. Called in to have them shipped FYI. Was told they have several.
