I heard that most are 3 each. The extra 6 packs are one additional Mickey, Stitch, Alien, Genie, Syndrome and Mr. Incredible 

I went out smooshing yesterday, but TRU had a limit of 5. I thought I had picked up an Alien at TRU during a quick grab. So when I spent the next hour? smooshing at WM I did NOT buy an Alien. Got home and verified... I need to find an Alien today. Also, I kept thinking that Donald's tail was the lamp, so no Aladdin either. I find it very stressful to smoosh with the security screen flashing "recording in progress" and an associate walking through once a minute.

I've bought 12 bags. 6 at 2 different locations. No smoothing. Just for my son and I to open and see a few. Ended up with 3 Peter Pan. Lol.

Some people may find it inconvenient, but that exactly why I just buy what I can, and take them all home to smoosh.  After I get what I want, I just return the rest for my refund.  It feels pretty awkward sometimes with a cart full of these things just feeling them up in the middle of the toy section.

You should go north to Canada and find the person with 1 second smoosh technique.  The person goes to store with custom made basket with 16 pockets, so he/she has got to be used to people giving him/her weird looks.

if all you are looking is complete your set, there are Facebook groups for that where you can trade your extra for something you need.

If buying to sell, the time needed to go back and wait in line to return stuffs eats the small profit fast

If collecting, this basically prevents other fans from buying until those packs are returned.

This is my second set for personal use. (One for the kids to play with. One for me to keep safe from grubby little hands.) I don't like the idea of cleaning out the store just to bring them back. Poor little Timmy just wants a little something... But some greedy Gus took all the Disney CMF for profits. Waah!

Both very valid points.  However, if buying to sell, I wouldn't see much point in returning them at all.  I'd keep the singles and just sell those.  In terms of collecting, as is generally my case, your point does make sense.  When I do buy to take home though, they are usually returned within a day or two.  And I definitely don't clear house.  Chances are, I don't need to buy 80 of these just to complete my one set.  Just a handful or two at a time works just fine, then rinse and repeat if need be.

Regardless, thank you for pointing that out. Maybe I'll consider practicing with the Smoosh Master to achieve the 1 second technique

UPDATE:

1. The original shipment of Disney minifigures is on schedule. 

2. New supply for the Disney Series is delayed. We now expect to be listing the series again around the 14th or so. This, however, will be a preorder to see what demand is still out there. The new supply would ship around the 1st of June or so.

3. I apologize for those who have emailed and have not received responses yet. We have had an overload of questions from various sites. I will be responding within the next 48 hours.

i bought a box of 53 yesterday, somehow got 4 syndromes. gonna be fun trying to get the other 6 i need to complete my 3rd set

I actually found the last two I needed within 10 minutes back at WM this am. Smooshing goes much faster after you get a feel for the feel. My girls are already playing, mixing and free building with their complete set.
