This debate is a remake of the Series 15 debate. And the Series 14 debate. And the Series 13 debate. (Not the Simpsons series though - nobody actually cared enough to smoosh those awful angular heads.

  • But you didn't post a deal.. You posted some vague reference to a potential deal we're apparently not thinking about correctly. I'm trying to say it politely, but you aren't exactly being helpful. A

Definitely a fun way to display the minifigs.  I said this on EB, that I'm going to have to steal this idea and use this in my Fairground.  I'm sure there's one or two more floats that would work well in this scheme, too.

Here is your playboy bunny.....

Actually, it would be that w/a princess leia torso section :) (which would be at least closer to playboy, especially nowadays!)

How does it work with selling on Amazon do you have to pay monthly? Or does it work like eBay?

I just sold 1 of my 3 sets for counteroffer of 105 shipped. I'd like to sell the rest for 120+

except for the ones who are good at sniffing out truffles and LEGO Disney minifigures.  those are the ones who move 14 sets in 2 days and in the process make friends with 2 toy department managers at the nearby walmarts one of whom blew my mind giving me a 10% volume purchase discount for buying the whole box so he didn't have to worry about supposedly 20% opened- stolen minifigures . slaughtering is the basic premise of all good sport. bulls get slaughtered in Spain and Wall Street.  bears get slaughtered when their shorts run afoul. but i agree with the basic premise of pigs getting slaughtered eventually -  who doesn't love bacon?  certainly this guy is in love with the money this Truffle hog brings.  but yes, now that the party is winding down - Closing Time starts to play.  The thrill of the hunt is over and it and is time to figure out what to do or not to do with all of these Genie's , micro-upside down peanut butter cup head Aladdins, smooth headed Mr. Incredibles and the spiky haired guy with the S on his shirt with their associated 2x 2 tiles.  so very many of those.

Amazon: pay commission as well as a monthly subscription fee

eBay: pay final value fee (kind of like commission) and auction fee

overall Amazon commission % is much higher, I think most would rather pay on eBay.

anybody have any tips for cheapest method shipping a set of these? usps flat rate small box? padded envelope? using your own small box?

18 fit perfectly in 8x6x3 box, 11 oz first class with signature confirmation is $5.80.

same box that i use to send minifigure battlepacks and  microfighters.  loaded up on them during the last 40% off staples sale.

I blew out my last set a few hours ago.  I took a cut from what I was making on them early in the week just to get rid of it so I wasn't holding them.  Then I had to go to the store, and hit walmart, and there was a fresh case saying "take me".  But, I didn't get it.. Instead, slaughtered through it, picked out another 10 to finish one other set from all the single bags I had, and finished my sons sets, and grabbed a couple of the others that made me some decent cash, and left the rest.  Party time.  Disney Minifigures were a success...and i'm in the black on this round.  But, i'm not getting anymore.  I don't care if I see another case.
