I am sorry. I didn't mean to scare. First time I bought a box thinking it was easier than smooshing in a store. Now I am just sitting here dazed and confused. At least it was less embarrassing. Darn you Ariel!!!! I will hunt her down and she will go on the hall of shame.

After more of us get them in our hands, maybe we'll have trades. ;)

This debate is a remake of the Series 15 debate. And the Series 14 debate. And the Series 13 debate. (Not the Simpsons series though - nobody actually cared enough to smoosh those awful angular heads.

  • But you didn't post a deal.. You posted some vague reference to a potential deal we're apparently not thinking about correctly. I'm trying to say it politely, but you aren't exactly being helpful. A

I just found two complete boxes at the Walmart by my house. I'm wondering if it would be better to open them all up, sell as many complete sets as I have, and then sell the rest individually?

It is either that or post them on Craigslist and Bricklink individually and sell them that way. What is everyone's thoughts?

The other question is do you sell the individuals all at the same price or do we wait and see which ones have the most demand and /or are the most rare to set different prices

Well u got till May 1st to make any sort of profit. After that they'll be all over the place. You'll have to wait for a sold out status and/or EOL.

I think there will be a gap though locally. Many parents will buy a few, kids get hooked, and they need specific figs to round out the set. Not every parent knows about Bricklink and they will turn to Craigslist and ebay (which will totally be overrun) lol.

Ive already sold 4 full sets.

I know! I am not happy. Now I have to find another Ariel just so I have two complete sets at least. I was shocked. I saw the employee open the shipping box, so there was no messing.

So I have 23 packages to go in my second box and I have 6 Ariel's.... Lol. I need Alice. :)

It seems there's no standard distribution in these Disney CMF's like the other normal series. One person got one Ariel in their box and now you've got six in yours so far with 23 packs left to open. So odd.

According to Lego, the boxes are filled by hand from random bins so I fail to understand the supposed consistency of equal distribution.  As to the prior post, it makes perfect sense in that case.

Now....anyone have 2 cases to sell?  Trying to find 'em for a giveaway for my school.  Minifigs+ hasn't responded to any of my messages on here (or via Ebay) and am not paying 350/box.  Ugh.

Well, that is the first I have heard that the distribution wasn't uniformed. All other series were exactly as described. Might not get a case now.

previous minifigure cases have followed a standard distribution so if this is in fact true that there is no standard distribution, could be very interesting to see what the actual rare ones are. i haven't finished sorting the case i bought.   i'm just buying these whenever i see them thinking long term and hoping for a classic Disney LEGO theme to drive demand.  my gut is telling me that there will be huge demand for these.  just a question of supply.

I'm only repeating what I was told so haven't a clue otherwise.

That is just 58 counts.  You were missing 2.

Did you open them up or just smoosh / check the dot codes ?

Robin Hood stole the other 2 and gave them to the poor.

I don't think these past few posters are correct. I got a sealed case the other day and it was filled just how it's supposed to. 3 complete sets and 6 extra. Extras being stitch, alien, mr incredible, syndrome, Mickey, and genie. I wouldn't believe reports of any different distributions unless they actually opened the figs.

Where are you jerks getting sealed cases before the actual release date? [emoji3]

Walmart, Target, TRU...

Sealed cases can be hard to get before May 1.    at Target the sales rep carefully sliced open the tape seals.  I'm was just happy to 1) find a box and 2) it was fresh.

What was your distribution?
