This debate is a remake of the Series 15 debate. And the Series 14 debate. And the Series 13 debate. (Not the Simpsons series though - nobody actually cared enough to smoosh those awful angular heads.

  • But you didn't post a deal.. You posted some vague reference to a potential deal we're apparently not thinking about correctly. I'm trying to say it politely, but you aren't exactly being helpful. A

Just curious... Has there ever before been a Lego minifigs set/series that was completely sold out, and several months later gotten a new production run?

It doesn't seem likely to me, given how Lego handles their minifigs series. So far, as far as I know, it's been: one production run, and when sold out it's gone forever. Why would it be different with these minifigs?

It would be different because it's Disney and demand for the series is likely greater than any of the previous ones.

Lego had never posted on their site to "check back" for any other minifigures before.

I talked to staff at Toyco and Toyworld in New Zealand about restocking the Disney Minifigures.  Both staff replied that they will not be getting anymore as each store gets an allotment from Lego and once the stock is gone, that is it for our region.  If Lego does come out with another run of Disney Minifigures, we may miss out on it downunder as it is only showing Temporarily out of stock for the USA and CAD regions.

Yep we won't get anymore in oz or nz. If you check out the Australian thread there is a bit more info on it.

I didn't realise there was a separate thread for oz,  thanks for letting me know, I will check that out, cheers

So it's 2nd September now (in UK anyway), has anyone seen any new stock arrive at there local shops?

Lego usa online still says TOOS

FYI Illinois discovery center doesn't sell them at the moment either, but I noticed couple days ago that you get a 1 free with a $75 purchase.

Called SAH Europe and they stated they will not produce/sell any more Disney minifigures even with Castle out.

They kindly adviced me to check on retailers for any left on shelves.

Excellent news! :)  Now for the hopefully steady increase in value of a complete set.

Don't believe. Not you but SAH.

In anticipation of an extra run, the prices on Bricklink in Europe are currently close to the retail prices. You can see some people placing huge orders over the last month. If it does not run again after  all, I think this is the perfect moment to get yourself some.

I keep wanting to bug the orthopedics guys at work to borrow the fluoroscopy machine (it's like a real time X-Ray scanner hooked to a TV monitor). I'm convinced you'd be able to see all the details inside the bags in an instant.

WHAMO!

We have actually done that but the plastic is not dense enough, this doesn't work unfortunately

I'm personally convinced this range is done. Went into 2 local smyths store at the weekend to take advantage of their promo, wanted to up the bill by a few pound so minifigs was the obvious answer. I asked in both stores if they had any, both said no and there were none on the horizon. He also said he'd been asked the same question by so many people lately, either resellers or parents wanting for their kids, who knows, but either way I think this range will do well eol especially with Cinda's castle now on the shelves.

I have a feeling a lot of people are gonna regret not getting these when they had a chance. I had about 6-7 sealed sets myself, unfortunately i only have 1 and some change left

I looked and googled for quite some time but I can't find them on any European LEGO Shop at Home site. Maybe it's the new site I'm having some trouble with ... or they're really gone.

I think all European SAH websites carry the same stock information... i.e. If you can't find them on the uk (or Swiss in your case) SAH website they won't be on any of the others. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

I agree with you, although I'm not sure if uk has the same stock. Anyhow, maybe it's because of the new design that I can't find the Disney minifigures.

They've been gone from LEGO Shop at Home for Quite some time already
