This debate is a remake of the Series 15 debate. And the Series 14 debate. And the Series 13 debate. (Not the Simpsons series though - nobody actually cared enough to smoosh those awful angular heads.

  • But you didn't post a deal.. You posted some vague reference to a potential deal we're apparently not thinking about correctly. I'm trying to say it politely, but you aren't exactly being helpful. A

I was at the Disneyland Lego store on Thursday and they were out, but expecting a shipment on Monday. But my local Lego store also got another shipment Wednesday. So it makes sense that they'd ship more to Disney, but who knows.

I was thinking more of inside the parks, though.

Was at Toys R Us today. They had 10 out on the shelf, but they were each in a clear, plastic security case, like they use for video games and such. They also had part of a case behind the register that they let me buy as well. I felt a little bad as no-joke, the cashier lady actually told me something to the tune of this; "Y'all need to quit buying all of these. Save some for the kids. Comin' in here buyin' them and selling them on Ebay, I know what you're doing. You too old to come here and buy them for yourself."   It was awkward. Made me feel dirty.

Did you get her number? "Hey Baby!"

There was probably about 20 left in the case, but at that point, and with 10 already in my arms, I couldn't bring myself to ask for all of them. And so got half.

You should get her name and complain with corporate. None of her business what you buy or do with them tbh. Or complain to higher management.

"Don't worry.  The kids at the orphanage are going to really enjoy these."

Be sure to fill out one of those receipt surveys they love to push.

But anyways, is it normal for them to be in those plastic security cases? I would've smooshed but I couldn't.

Seemed kinda silly, as they had all the promo bags and mixels loose, and they're about the same price point and size.

I've never seen an empty Mixel or promo bag in a store...

No, I meant the mixels and promo's were in their bags, but the disney minifigs were each individually locked inside of a plastic security case, like stores often have movies, and electronics and things in.

I'm saying I've seen tons of minifigure bags with missing contents in stores...

Ohhh. Just doesn't make much sense to me as there's plenty of other small collectibles/toys/trading cards that are about the same size and could easily be stolen, that don't get the extra layer of security.

I don't get why they leave the empty bag...

The alarm might go off if they walked out with it? Some stores I'd assume have alarms at the doors that go off if a bar code that hasn't been scanned through the system passes through it. Or I'd assume. If not, it's definitely some technology to invest in.

I live in FL

I still see these everywhere.

I go to TRU and buy 9 everyday I can, 4-5 times a week, So I can get the 5 off 30 and gwp and use those 15% off GCs. I used to buy more each day, but a manager told me he would not accept my coupons anymore, they're suppose to be one time use.

My box from minifigures plus was sealed.  3 full sets +  mickey, Mr incredible,  syndrome,  alien, genie, stitch.

Thanks minifigures +

For me this set is very elusive. Haven't seen them locally so whatever I can get ill keep for long term. Don't matter which. Just buy and throw them in the back of the storeroom.

Anyone wanna help me out[emoji12]
