August 22, 201510 yr Does anybody know what will be the Lego SAH limit on Sept 1st. One or two I guess. My guess is 2.
August 23, 201510 yr He's here! The package from ToysRUs came today and I have to say that I am very impressed. I was not expecting WALL-E to arrive so soon after placing my order and I had doubts whether the set was really in stock. The box is a lot bigger than I thought it would be and very heavy. The box art is awesome!
August 23, 201510 yr Saw it in store today and wanted to buy it but the cashier said that it is not to be sold until 9/1
August 27, 201510 yr Reports that the set's release may be delayed 1-2 weeks because of quality issues:http://www.thebrickfan.com/reports-of-lego-ideas-wall-e-21303-being-delayed/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+LegoEverlasting-LegoReviewsNews+(The+Brick+Fan+-+LEGO+Reviews+%26+News)I'm not sure what that means if you already got the set from Toys R Us.
August 27, 201510 yr I got three and already sold one. I'm hiking my price on my remaining 2. This could get interesting...
August 27, 201510 yr Saw it in store today and wanted to buy it but the cashier said that it is not to be sold until 9/1 It's bizarre that places put it on the shelf, but won't sell it. Just keep it in back for heavens sake. That's really annoying.

August 27, 201510 yr Hopefully it's an additional neck piece to stabilize the head for positioning. That would be GREAT. It's the one issue that's cropped up on all the reviews.
August 27, 201510 yr We get it, reselling not your thing. There's ways to streamline that too; but we get the point -- not worth your time to earn something that's right in front of you that takes a little work like typing all that out. It's actually not like that at all. I'm getting in this to resell. To tell you the truth, I've not done enough research to know if I should grab them or not. At $60 a pop, I didn't wanna take the chance and have to drive back to it to return them or just break even. Normally, I'd have just whipped my phone out and checked, but I had my 2 yo with me and didn't wanna mess with it. I just happened to have been in the area of this store as it's not the closest store to me and thought I'd stop in. I'm glad I did. I found about 9 different retired sets they had in stock. It's like the black hole for Legos. They had just about everything in stock multiples deep. I'm definitely going to have to start driving out to it when they're clearancing (word?) stuff out.
August 28, 201510 yr The thing with Wall-E is that the movie is already seven years old. Sure there is pent-up demand from the Lego community but probably not as much as you think in the general public. Ghostbusters and BttF have stronger cross-over appeal. I predict strong sales initially (due to resellers gobbling up stock) but slow post-Christmas.
August 28, 201510 yr I could see someone wanting to make 20 bucks off of :30 of their time. There was a time where I was only making 4./hr 25 years ago. I make a little more than that now. Edited August 28, 201510 yr by conceptmachine
August 28, 201510 yr Wait...what? Who still drives to the bank these days, other than little old ladies who need to deposit their bingo winnings? I do all of my banking on my phone. Strange...
August 28, 201510 yr Near miss on 4 of these today, TRU tried hard to take my money but the system just wouldn't let them sell, lol. Interestingly, these 4 were from 2 different runs several weeks apart.
August 28, 201510 yr No sign of any Wall-Es at my TRU. Some people just follow the rules too closely.
August 28, 201510 yr There was a sign for it at my TRU but the shelf was empty, next to a pile of Big Bang Theory.
August 28, 201510 yr I'm on mobile so I can't easily move these posts that have ZERO to do with WALL-E so ill do it later unless one of the other mods can but please cut out the confrontational posts (you know who you are) and keep on topic.
August 28, 201510 yr 32R5 here as well. I noticed the printed pieces on my set have scuffs and scratches. Anyone else see something like this?
August 28, 201510 yr I think it means you struck quick flip gold.If it turns out there was a quality issue, I wouldn't want to pay a premium for a 'faulty' set. I think I'd just wait and pay retail once they fixed the issue.

Also, there are some impatient fok out there who just want to have it and are maybe not aware or care about any issue.
