May 13, 201510 yr This is a pretty awesome MOC of the Millennium Falcon. 10,000 pieces. Maybe this can be the next version of the ship
May 13, 201510 yr saw this yesterday, pretty sick version, needs a top though...so 15,000 pieces or so if it had that?
May 13, 201510 yr Posted a couple times already, too busy programming updates for the site I imagine...
May 13, 201510 yr Author Yeah, never saw it here, sorry about that. Just got it in one of my LEGO news alerts. Maybe if it was in the daily summaries i would have know
May 13, 201510 yr Yeah, never saw it here, sorry about that. Just got it in one of my LEGO news alerts. Maybe if it was in the daily summaries i would have know It's epic enough that it probably deserves a topic of it's own... It's a masterpiece and though I agree seeing what that builder would do with the top would finish it off nicely, hiding that interior would be a real shame.
May 15, 201510 yr I would pretty much never buy a UCS re-tread, but a if they made a 12000 piece one (assumign they'd build a top) I would definitely buy it.
May 15, 201510 yr I just appreciate the attention to detail, some amazing stuff there. That room with the training droid and Luke and the rounded couch is just brilliant. Such creativity, I really struggle to come anywhere close to being able to think up how to do stuff like that.
May 15, 201510 yr Something about Millennium Falcon kits. In the absence of 10179, I've subscribed to the DeAgostini 1:1 scale part-works kit. Beautiful model, huge; the only downside is it takes 2 years to acquire all the parts. Anyone else seen or (better yet) also building this? Edited May 15, 201510 yr by diablo2112
May 15, 201510 yr ^ $60*25! NO WAY!Yep. And it's still half the price of comparable kits (including 10179).
