I've been holding onto my Imperial Flagship 10210 I knew it would increase in value due to its early and unexpected discontinuation. I said Ill keep it for a few years see if it gets to $1000 idk if it well but it looks likely. Is it worth selling and getting a used one because I seriously do want the set I think it looks brilliant. Im going to keep it sealed till at least christmas of this year. But it just doesn't fell right leaving it alone.

Box is in good condition as shown in the photo above

No. Not really I got other things that id rather build and  that I should be asking this question on. but I saw this box when I was getting a Lego house to build and have noticed it's sharp increase from 400 to 650-750 now. Which makes it a more of a turnoff to open. I've had sets which have just sat for years id rather not let this box sit that long.

Sell and buy a used one.  Price differential is as high as $350 between these if you don't want the box or instructions.

You could also offer a trade to some one here for a used one plus cash to you.  Avoid fees, and make someone else very happy, to.

Just like the others have said, it's a good idea to sell the new one and buy a used one in good condition. You could also use the remaining money to invest in some other sets that are soon to retire.
