Hello,

Can someone explain to me what is truly meant by a LEGO 'exclusive'? If I'm on LEGO online and I do a search on the Exclusive category, I see many sets that are also sold at Amazon, Target, etc. Why are these sets called LEGO exclusives when other retailers sell them? Thanks

In the US it means it can never go on sale. Other than that there's not really anything exclusive about them. There are a few sets like the Maersk ship that are only available via lego but those are very few.

I should add exclusives are not usually found on the shelf at other retailers. Web only with a few exceptions.
