April 28, 201510 yr i completed a trade for the series 9 chicken suit guy and much to my surprise the figured that arrived has black hips instead of white. The trader said that is how he came out of the package. Is this possible? Anyone hear of a variation of the figure?
April 28, 201510 yr And it still has the correct leg printing?I'm pretty sure something is amiss here. Even the fake ones don't have black hips.

April 28, 201510 yr Author Here is a pic. The trader said he took it right from the package to storage. Edited April 28, 201510 yr by stackables
April 28, 201510 yr That's crazy.. I'm almost willing to believe him since its realllllly hard to change legs without breaking them and it would be way more trouble than it's worth to put the wrong hips on.
April 28, 201510 yr Author legs were pretty easy to pop off. I just did it. But everything else looks authentic. Fig seems to be a little dirty so I question the "right into storage" but the hips are definitely weird.
April 29, 201510 yr The seller is obviously not being truthful. The legs come in white. There's no way that came out of the package with bkack legs.
April 29, 201510 yr Taking off minifigure legs is easy but for what reason would there be to simply take the white torso piece and replace it with a black one? A mistake in packaging when the character was compiled is strange but not impossible. Looking over Series 9, there were three characters with black torsos, Waiter, Battle Mech, and Judge. Perhaps the machine used for assembly made a miscalculation.
