You think the Maze will do that well? I am lukewarm ... it's neat, but I don't have a single one (personal or otherwise). I think it's just holiday buying shenanigans and in three months people will have moved onto the next batch of Ideas sets.

The Maze is a tricky one. Less than 12 month lifespan. Just wait till it is completely gone. A lot of adults like it because it brings back memories to the labyrinth. There are lots of skeptics on this set in Canada, but if you go elsewhere, particularly Europe, it's a different ball game. Go take a look at the Maze thread and you'll see how jumpy they are about it.

I could say the same about Wall-E, I've seen many of these sets and people are not buying them, but other posters here see them fly off the shelf. I was just in Richmond BC and saw them on the shelf and more boxes up hidden on another shelf, they barely moved. It depends on the ethnicity of the population too. Richmond is full of Chinese and they don't know what is Wall-E. On the other hand, they sure do know about the Sydney Opera House. The SOH is going for some serious coin in China and Hong Kong now.

Is raptor rampage ever going to go in stock on the toys r us .ca website??  I have been watching it ever since the flyer was released , but it has never showed up in stock except on their ebay store.  

any thoughts on this??

I think i saw it in stock online once, but not for long. Oddly enough i think all JW sets went out of stock just before the deals swapped over (maybe intentional for whatever reason).

maybe maybe not, got some in store, but they lasted only couple of hours

I bought mine on Black Friday, but got a notice that it's back ordered.  I just got an order confirmation today, which hopefully means it will ship soon.  Probably a lot of other ppl got theirs back ordered and they're trying to fill in the orders now.

There were back? I keep checking once in a while but being at work and actually doing work does get in the way of checking. I don't see these anymore. : ( 

I ordered the night Black Friday went live (Thursday at around 9 pacific), and had 3 delivered yesterday. 2 more coming from their ebay, en route.

Maybe cancelled orders since they don't charge cc until shipping? I'm still waiting for my 2x EVs to ship. Hopefully they get into the mail tonight.

Strange but Gorilla Grodd is all over the shelves and online, nobody's touching that. Not sure why. I got none and may buy some when they do clearance on boxing day. It'll be 35.97 and second one half price, patience.

Got most of my TRU orders today. Raptors were all nicely wrapped in bubble wrap. Droid carriers looked like they were just tossed into the box that was 2 times to big but in good condition. Yesterday was the first time they really let me down. 3 trick or treats in a bubble mailer. So I got me some nice pancakes.

Here, a third of my 76032 (The Avengers Quinjet City Chase) arrived as 76051 (Super Hero Airport Battle)! The boxes do have an identical size and very similar themes.

I don't really mind personally, although that kind of error will mess up their inventory... Is there a point in calling them so that they can correct their stock? Probably not.

Yes, I tried, it does not work on any lego sets. A lot of discounted items do not work. I got 16 of those cards and was able to get some nice deals.

Now that I'm quietly done cleaning a bunch of IR sets still online on TRU, you guys can finish off the rest.

179CAD on amazon.ca and 140USD on TRU.COM now. Go to the IR board and get that credit card ready to clean the remaining sets.

this card is crappy, i bought lego to have them, shoud work on full price lego. So at the registrer it won't scan or an employee canceled it?

It will scan but it does not get applied to lego. You could try and talk the cashier into it though. I talked one into it and got $15 off the IR set. I told them it was 119 just a few weeks ago and now even with $15 off, it is 149-15 and TRU is still making a crap load. Then the cashier asked the manager and I got one applied.
