Weird, I was @toysrus this weekend for the lego build event with the kids.  And I never notice any lego buy 1 get one free.  How did you know that in store?  If you scan it, it will only tell you the price of the item you scan.

As far as I know they are all doing a buy one clearance item get one clearance item for half price event. I have been to a few stores the past few months that are doing this. Some stores might not have as good signage up about this, but any item you see with one of those yellow clearance tags should be fair game. There are a few lego sets that seem to qualify right now, particularly Chima which is a dead line. 

Hi, went to toys-r-us, and the girl had to ask the manager about the bogo. Seems they don't inform they employee. Anythings that ends with .98$ is on bogo.

There only was some MTT, but passed on them. Anyway, there wasnt any publicity of it. Anyway im getting ready for black friday and after chrismast deals, if it like 2015, whoopie!! Tumbler, seacow, technic crane ...   and many other bogo deals. Thats where ill put my money.

This coming week is 20% off Jurassic World, Angry Birds, Scooby Doo, Friends sets under $40, and there's a free A-wing pilot polybag on any $25 non clearance lego set purchase (which also excludes minifigure packages I have learned, though that may depend on the cashier).

I managed to get at least 2 of each of the minifigure box promotions over the past 4 weeks, all through buying lego on modest sale. Singles and doubles win baseball games.

Singles and doubles huh? Sorry but it's still too soon to be talking baseball in Canada.   23 years is a long time to wait!

I'm interested in the Scooby Mansion but think it will one day be cheaper than 20% off. I'll wait.

I was thinking of pulling the trigger on the Pet Shop, but when I look at the RRP in Canada vs USA, this one has one of the worst differentials for US vs Cdn RPP... $149.99US / $199.99Cdn. After shipping, taxes, and exchange rate, my cost per set would be ~$140US... not sure if it's worth it....

Yeap, but they might not last the same time this year !.. So better have some right now, and if they ever make a better deal after x-mas, well either I keep both lot or let go the 3 I got today at a fair price just to get a few $$ back ( quick flip like 25$ per set...), and keeping the new ones for longer period !

For anyone interested; the FO Star Destroyer poly is listed on TRU. No shipping option, but in-store pickup seems to work as many locations near me have some.

Yup, but don't take that risk this time. Last year the CAD plunged hard so the discount was extra gravy. This time, the CAD is low so I doubt you can get it lower.

The Sea Cow was on sale for $249 and second one half off if I recall. So if TRU pulls the same stunt, you could possibly get the EV for 199CAD and second one half price. But I wouldn't gamble.

Need code/ coupon for TOYS R US... there's always someone here who find these .. please please .. made my searchs didn't find any .. please share if any !
