September 9, 20169 yr Answering my own question. No go. Our American competition has been picking it up at $105 USD according to the New rate on BP. Checking over on BL new sets are selling at about $8 less than TRU price ($178 average)... before tax is factored in. Thinking no deal for investment. : Kicks self a little more for not grabbing a discounted PC :

This time last year I bought a bunch of cargo planes for the same sort of deal, then moved them very easily at MSRP shortly after retirement. For cargo planes! The uniqueness of this set appeals to me so I took the plunge. Ba dump dump

September 9, 20169 yr I believe I've already purchased 3 PCs from Lego.... all last year though, so maybe I'm safe... but I'm already 1 over the limit. I want a 4th for personal build. Might just find a used one on the cheap.... got a PS that way recently.
September 10, 20169 yr Author I personally stay away from the TRU exclusive sets unless they are heavily discounted like BOGO 50% off or clearance at greater than 25% off. TRU order so much of it they end up lingering around forever even after the theme is retired. Case in point: Star Wars Police Gunship. Lego Movie Rescue Reinforcement. Are there some winner sets in the past? Yea. But they are far and between. Edited September 10, 20169 yr by tacsniper
September 10, 20169 yr Now tru has them all back up for regular price with a limit of three and no stock left of the PR.

So it was a pricing mistake, and someone had cleared up the Parisian Restaurants (it wasn't me ). Eh well, no big deal. Ordering from LEGO Shop at Home in October with double VIP and freebie will easily be worth 20% off.

September 13, 20169 yr Nice. I'd regretted not grabbing a PC or two previously, so I did just that. thanks
September 16, 20169 yr This week's flyer is lame, except I might get a giant Master Chief figure for 40% off. He can keep my giant Batman, Darth Vader, and Han and Luke in stormtrooper gear company.
September 16, 20169 yr Save on any Marvel toys, the code is MARVELSEPT10Valid September 23- October 31, 2016For purchase of $20 or more to save $10.
September 16, 20169 yr Just an extra observation I should've posted earlier when I ordered.... but the T1 Camper, and the Parisian Restaurant were both mysteriously missing from their website. A sign of anything or just random coincidence?

Very handy for small sets or sets on sale, though I take this as a sign that Marvel sets will not be on sale until after Halloween. Many are on sale on the website and in stores (though not mentioned in the flyer) right now, so I guess that deal ends on Thursday right before this code goes into effect.
