I am liking the lift of "no sales on exclusives" policy. Time to start stocking up on some PR.

So I'm guessing that amazon won't price match these? 

This was supposed to be a low purchasing month for me as I waited for the October deals. Then the advents came out, then the Chapters discounts, and now this. And it's only one week in. Vodium, you going to the bank for a loan?   Would have liked a mixer for myself but all gone already. I'll probably get one of each of the modulars. Already got SOH from the Walmart deal in July. 

Haha. Sadly they won't even ship these to my address(rural) and even if they would, then the $50 shipping would really put a dent on the deal. Guess I'll wait for other sales.

Yup, Chapters, of all places, is killing me this month with the sales on figs & medium sized part-outable sets.

The 10x plum points is worth at best 15%, and they don't seem to have any interesting discount to combine with that 15%...

Many stores have various sets on for 20% off, which makes a combined 35% off for those sets. 

Damn was going to load up on some Mixers but they are currently OOS!

I loaded up when amazon had them for ~$120 so it being on of the only items OOS is a possible good sign for the future!

I was on a work call (and sharing out my desktop) with the client paying the bill... figures you guys would get all wacky with the current sales going on.

By the time I got some in my shopping cart at TRU the 20% off deals were gone. Lego must have stepped in as PR and PC aren't even listed on the website anymore.

I don't think LEGO is banning sales on exclusives anymore (there's a thread or two on these forums about this) so i don't think LEGO would have forced them to be taken down. Likely just removed as TRU does this with items that go OOS until they get more stock. Mind you i agree that if you added to cart and the item became no longer listed during that time... that is unexpectedly fast for sure.

Arrggh! And I only got 4 Parisian Restaurants, I was planning on a dozen to part out... I was transferring funds from the U.S.; I shouldn't have waited and just taken the 1-2% hit for foreign purchases instead.

Any meat on the bone for the City Square at 20% off? Always liked the look of the set, but at $230 it's always felt steep.... at $185 maybe a little more reasonable, but still unsure if this one might do well enough to justify that as a buy-in price..... not a bad price for personal build I'm thinking, but still on the fence for investing. Town Plan did well, and this is probably the closest thing to a remake of that we'll get for a while. What are my fellow Canadians thinking about it at 20% off?

I bought one the other month at that price at a Lego Store. Undecided yet if it's intended for resale or opening.

 

Just noticed the Deep Sea Exploration Vessel is 33% off from $150 to $100. Got 2 of those already at that price the other month so have at thee!
