February 17, 20169 yr I avoided the sets where a shipping fee was involved. Has anyone had any success selling those bricktober sets?

February 17, 20169 yr My Mastercard is RED HOT!!! Don't even want to know how much I spent! I even had a denial so I had to call MC to tell them it was not suspicious activity.

February 17, 20169 yr That's it for me ! Go at it guys, there seems to be a lot of stock. Just now, lego rules said: When you spend several thousand a few times, they don't flag you anymore. When I called, I asked the lady to get rid of that security check
February 17, 20169 yr Just picked up the last Toy Shop. Thanks for the heads up. Sandcrawler is worth buying if you are looking at getting these with a discount.

February 17, 20169 yr looks like all three smaller sets are now OOS. Hopefully we get everything without an issue!
February 17, 20169 yr I am getting confirmations ... usually it takes longer to get confirmations, they must have added some staff for this "event"

I have sold four complete sets from the streetview promo before Xmas. Couple on ebay for $99 shipped, one on Brick Classifieds for $89 shipped and one on kijiji locally for $65 cash. I had one left before this sweet little event. These have a better piece count and are bigger boxes than the '14 Bricktober sets and are pretty cool. Of course, now I have to compete with you lot to sell them, but it is still a good discount even if we undercut each other to $75 shipped

February 17, 20169 yr we are partners in crime when we share good deals but competitors when we sell, undercutting each other to dwindling returns that might actually force me to build one of these shabby free sets lol. How appropriate would it be to discuss maintaining prices at a profitable levels here?

Apart from being illegal, price fixing only works if all parties selling agree on a price, so even if everyone here on Brickpicker would follow some sort of guideline, everyone else in the world wouldn't. Basically only big corporations that have VERY little competition can and do, fix prices. Edited February 17, 20169 yr by emonster
February 17, 20169 yr I usually don't undercut, I simply sell same price as other and make sure to offer the best service possible.
